We went with just two other people, and so instruction was very easy to get one-on-one. We had a blast, caught a number of waves, ate a couple of waves, and enjoyed the water! The beach there is perfect for learning, because you can walk out, rather than paddling out, and the waves were perfect waterfall waves. So much fun! More

It was awesome, they picked me up at the hotel, the guide spoke great english and was really positive. I am not in the best shape and I stood up!! I loved it, and I still can not stop talking about how awesome it was! It was a little more expensive than other surf lessons in the area and it... More

We returned to visit Tito and continue to improve our surfing skills again this year. We went out with the Uvita Surf School 3 times and surfed on our own once. Always, they take us to a Maria Ballena park beach. Dominical is very crowded and you are sharing the waves with a lot of surfers. So, if you aren't... More

This past christmas, my cousins and I took surfing lessons with Tito and Diego. It was by far one of the funnest experiences/activities we did. We actually liked it so much that we came back 2 other days for more lessons. Tito and Diego are great teachers, they had us standing up on the boards in no time, and the... More

My husband & I took a private lesson from Diego, and it was a blast! It was our first time surfing, and we were worried that it'd be too difficult, but he had us standing on the board and successfully surfing immediately. The 2-hour lesson was a perfect amount of time - we were pretty tired but got in a... More

I had tried surfing in the past, having grown up on the beach but for some reason could never stand up. After some instruction, and a lot of patience Tito had me standing and riding waves not even an hour into pour session. He was very patient, spoke great English and had the laid back air of surfer cool. He... More

Tito and Diego were awesome. They were kind enough to drive to Domnical for a pick up and then drive back down to the beach. It was New Year's Day and somewhat crowded at the beach, but we had more than enough room to work. They brought chairs, an umbrella, water, snacks, rash guards, boards, wax, and a really, really,... My fiance and I had a great time getting a private lesson fron Tito. He took some great photos of us (which he sent to us the same day!) and gave us more time on the boards than our 2 hour lesson (we were in the water for longer just trying to hone the new skills we had aquired). It... More

Uvita (Tito's) surf camp was awesome!! I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to take a surf lesson, whether you're a beginner or not. My eight year old son and 22 year old daughter took lessons and enjoyed every minute. Tito and Alex were professional, patient and made the experience fun. The price was excellent and included snacks and... More

I was in Costa Rica for 3 weeks going thru San Jose, Puerto Veillo, Tortuguero, Arenal, Monteverde, Manuel Antonio and finally Uvita. Uvita and the surf lesson given by Tito at Uvita Surf School was the best part of my trip. Tito and his team are very profesisonnal. On the first lesson I was up on the board. The beach... More
