We had a nice tour with Rancho La Merced. Our 5 year old son was able to ride his own horse (for the second time on our vacation) and he was loving it. Our tour guide was great and helped us spot some wild pigs and other animals along the trail. The water was very high and fast on the... More

We chose the horseback riding tour to the waterfall. The facility is well kept, with bathrooms, a place to sit, and a shop. The staff was very friendly. Horses looked happy, healthy, and well kept for. Went through a peaceful ride through fields and dense forests and then ended up at a waterfall. Our guide tied up the horses and... More

We took a horseback riding tour with Hector and it was incredible! The amazing landscape, meadows, jungle, creeks, the swimming at the waterfall, the kids enjoyed it as much as the adults! Ant it being "rainy" season, our family had the tour to ourselves.

Hector was great! It ended up being just my husband and I so was a private tour! Loved it! On our way through the ranch area we saw the baby horses one being only 15 days old. Then we saw Toucans, Howler Monkey, owl, herons and a Hawk. Oh and cows too! The waterfall is stunning! I would def recommend... More

My family had an amazing time horse back riding with Rancho La Merced, the staff was professional, knowledgeable and enjoyable to be around! They took us through the lush beautiful serene jungle then for a gorgeous stroll with our horses on the beach! My mother had the time of her life. To end our day the wife of one of... More

I did the tour together with a friend and we went to the waterfall. It was great! The people were very friendly and you could really feel the guide's passion for his job and the horses. Also they were in a good shape. They offered us banana bread and lemonade afterwards, which was just a perfect ending of a great... More

The facility is very professional, extremely well kept with nice bathrooms and a little souvenir shop. The young man who checked us in spoke excellent English and made sure we were comfortable. My daughter and I both... More

I am a science teacher traveling with 10 high school students. We did the horseback riding waterfall trip and it was wonderful. All but 1 student had never been on a horse before and some were quite nervous. The staff were extremely helpful and caring, matching horses well to the student. They even personally led one student horse that was... More
