Five years ago when I booked with Scuba Junkie, I had read some unfavourable reviews. For many reasons, back then I booked with them. I found them amazing back then. They're even better now. The staff are still just as professional, safe, and helpful. They have a lodge at Mabul Island that looks great, the food was good. I did... More

This company is exceptional. Their gear is well maintained, the boat is comfy and the lunch is good too. The dive sites are excellent and the divemasters are both knowledgeable and have great eyes even if what they're looking at only looks like a stick with a tail (you know who I mean Barcelona!). They have very high safety standards... More

My husband and I dive with SJ for three days and were very pleased with the experience. First of all, all,our equipment was in good condition and great working order. One suggestion would be for the Semporna shop to have the antibacterial wash for the wetsuits like they do on Mabul Island. My wetsuit was a bit stinky so that... More

Let me first say that i was a bit reluctant to gomwith Scuba Junkie, because I thought being a relatively bigger organisation, I would be nothing but a number. Boy was I wrong! My first day diving in Semporna, I was assigned the best divemaster/buddy one could ask for (looking at you, John). I had so much fun I extended... More

Scheduled 6 dives in two days with Scuba Junkie and met up with a friend who had already completed some with them as well. My friend told me their boat had broken down and they ended up going to a closer site. Both days of my dives, our boat got jammed with plastic and rather than heading out to the... More

Made 13 dives with them in four days. Excellent divemasters and good equipment. They leave to sereral different islands each day and so you'll never visit the same place twice (unless you want to). Dived also with another company in Semporna (for Sipadan), but service and organisation at Scuba Junkie were a lot better. Would dive with them again, when... More

I can't say enough nice things about this entire operation. I will try to break it down to help future travelers make the big decision of where to dive in South East Asia. This was the last week of 24 days of diving in Bali, Komodo, Thailand, and Borneo. Dive site quality: - Incredible biodiversity, flawless clarity, and a great... More

Planning the next trip and came across SJ and others offering Sipadan and more for a diving experience These guys really know how to work with customers They deliver information quickly, answer questions and offer advice , when asked, on other travel options Most importantly they listen (read?) to what you're looking for and don't try to sell you up... I highly recommend the place. I stayed 4 days at Mabul resort and I have nothing to complain about. Food was good, staff was friendly and experienced, and resort was nice. Full 5/5 without a doubt.

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic day diving with scuba junkie. First of all, massive thanks to our dive leader Gav. Despite being an Arsenal fan he was just about alright. Actually, to be fair I'll have to grudgingly admit he was professional, enthusiastic, fun and all in all a thoroughly top bloke. the moment we were on the... More
