Very nice place. But please be here only in winters or in the rainy seasons. Good market with all traditional stuffs. Visit the Kate's point and also visit the Mapro garden on your way to Mahabaleshwar. Chilly in the night and amazing place to stay for 3 nights.

its a place which is a must to visit in Maharashtra , best time would recommend in Jan 1st week as less people & picnic goers.

Nice natural setting , though local roads needs improving , town centre not clean enough, only some parts, must go and visit again to relax cool breeze on the hills

A beautiful hill station just few hours from mumbai.You will definetely enjoy every aspect of it be it the lovely green hills, the veenaa lake, the mapro farms or the vast Pratapgadh fort.A perfect getaway from mumbai for short breaks.

Went to this place while visit to Pune. At the end of the day I felt that it was all about going up on the hill and looking down from different different locations. Mahabaleshwar is a hill station which serves as a weekend getaway for all Mumbaikars & Puneites. It is around 7 hours drive from Mumbai & 3 hours from Pune.
