Horse riding is very costly in peak season. Even Jucies are also very very costly. Just go for Strawberries. But Strawberries are also very costly in peak season. They sell Strawberries at other Market rates in India. So dont buy to carry at home. Just buy and enjoy over there for tasting strawberries.

The view from most of the places were less as there was too much fog. We had a pleasant drive to Mahabaleshwar from Pune. Many points to visit – but tred safe. Panchgani is another place on the way that we enjoyed – especially tasting all the fresh Mapro products.

Mahabaleshwar is a place which will let you enjoy the scenic beauty of the mountains , I've visited this place 5-6 times in the past decades, every-time seems so refreshing to get out of bustling city life in Mumbai, it's a 5-6 hour drive depending upon the stop overs and the traffic. Hotels: Most hotels charge according to seasons,[April-May(School Holidays)... More

Worth seeing during late monsoon season due to less crowd and cheap hotels. Good to hire a taxi to see all points..

We visited Mahabaleshwar in Aug, which is considered an off season. Turned out to be a bonus for us as most of the places were quiet without any queues, though some of the view points were inaccessible due to heavy fog. We stayed for 2 nights which we found sufficient - on day 1, we covered old mahabaleshwar town and... More
