Its a good spot for a one day outing , nothing much to see but the climate makes you feel good for sure.Chai and pakoda available over there with the awesome climate makes a perfect combo. Ultimately a good place to visit.

This was my umpteenth visit to Mahabaleshwar, all my earlier visits being during Diwali holidays. The difference was this was the first time I was visiting it in the summer month of May and didn't find it cool enough to beat the summer heat of the plains. We went to Mahabaleshwar in June during monsoons, as people think that monsoons are the off season but weekends are always full. Climate is awesome with fog and rains but you cannot roam anywhere because of non stop rainfall and extreme winds blowing all around. 75percent of mahabaleshwar is closed due to rainfall.Taking kids in this season is a very... especially during strawberry season...its a fun place to go to. Strawberry farms, fresh strawberries with cream, milkshakes, corn tikkas...its good gastronomically. Many points to see...nice drives..good weather.

The place is so beautiful and romantic, it appeals to the heart. The various points across the hill station are one to look out for. There are many points worth visiting and one of the lakes is quite famous there. We visited all the points there, it was nice seeing the clouds touching the land
