This is really ancient beautiful temple. There are around 3-4 temples in the vicinity of this one. The sanctum sanctorum of the temple is amazing with the shiv ling at the centre. Real divine feeling.

The temple was built about 500 years ago by Shivaji but the Shiv ling is thousands of years old. The temple is simple but very well maintained. Its a part of 4 temples that one must visit in Old Mahabaleshwar area.

This place is a cluster of Three temples - Mahabaleshwar Temple, Atibaleshwar Temple and Panchganga Temple. Ancient structure and reasonable management. Roads leading to the temple are in very bad shape and single lane. Keep margin while planning. Parking facilities are satisfactory.

It's a very old Shiva temple situated in Old Mahabaleshwar. The temple itself is called Mahabaleshwar temple and has Rudraksha rupa of Shivling. What attracted me was the architecture of the temple and undoubtedly the Rudraksha rupa of Shivling. There are other adjoining temples as well but we skipped them. A must visit for your Mahabaleshwar trip.

Mahabaleshwar temple at Gokarna is a Shiva temple on the sea coast in Arabian sea. The temple is believed to be first built by the Kadamba dynasty almost 1700 years back. The temple built in Dravidian architectural style, with granite stones. The temple premises is huge. This is a must see as part of your Gokarna visit.

This is a very old temple standing upon a very ancient temple. This is the meeting place or sangam of five rivers. If you visit Mahabaleshwar, you must see this temple.
