This is an excellent spot. Never mind, the poor and average reviews left by others. Visit during monsoon and this is a 'table top' that's absolutely worth the trouble, read narrow roads. There's no crowd, you are all alone with friends, families and peaceful joy. If you can, get a couple of beers along. PS: Don't drink and drive. :)

It was raining like crazy and we were on top of this plateau called the Wilson Point. Not visited often as it is a little off route, its the closest you can get to nature as you wont have tourists standing everywhere you look.

Honestly, I was wondering what the fuss was all about. Getting here on a busy weekend can take quite the effort since the road is narrow and can get chaotic with the slightest amount of traffic. Once you are there, it is quite the anti-climax. Elephant's head is a lot prettier with lesser crowds. Lots of tourists, hawkers and horses... More

This is the highest point in Mahabaleshwar, at an altitude of 1435 metres. It is about 2 km from the Market as you go along the Satara Road. After about 1 km from the market you have to take a left turn when you see the sign board of ‘Hotel Gautam’. The road leading up to the point is very... More

Good enough for a small hill station. Might have been better in monsoons. Mahabaleshwar ain't vast, right?
