Easily accessed by tram. Lots of great little eateries a stone's throw from the City centre, some good pubs, and it's safe and friendly. Bouzy Rouge is one of the best gastro-pubs in Melbourne. Maedaya excellent and interesting Japanese food.

What can I say, 10 years ago this place was thriving, now every second shop is vacant. It's sad to go past on the tram and not see it vibrant like it used to be. The food section between burnley and church st is still good and there are some good restaurants, deli's and butchers, but give it a miss... More

Hello, Thank you for taking time adding your review. The area has been evolving for sometime now and now has a huge range of great cafes and restaurants. The rise of Bridge Road food is a huge growth area. We have many new buildings being developed on the hill area and soon as the work is completed or commences the... More

Bridge Road Richmond was once a Mecca for shoppers looking for designer bargains but it's definitely pat its prime. Many of the shops have closed, and thos that remin no longer offer the bargains they once did. It can also be difficult to find parking. There's definitely better places to shop in Melbourne than here.

This use to be a lovely place and location to go and shop and have a meal. It seems to have changed and doesn't seem to be as many people going there. Am I missing something? A great Location short to the CBD and transport but I think it needs sprucing up a bit to attract the tourists again.

I can remember getting excited about a shopping trip to Bridge Road ten years ago. Now... not so much. What a shame, the street has pretty much died and the shops that remain aren't sale shops at all, they're just regular stores like Sportsgirl. Unbelievably sad. What a waste. They had such a good thing going on and now it's... More

Hello, We are sorry you found the shopping not as good as in the past. The area has been evolving for sometime now and has a huge range of great cafes and restaurants. The shopping offering is reduced but we still have some great labels such as Bonds, Bendon, Alannah Hill, Country Road, Gorman, David Lawrence, Rivette and Blair and... More

Some great Pubs, Cafe's and Restaurants along this strip. Easy access to the City or go down Church to get to Chapel.

Good place to shop designer and boutiques looking for bargains. Though disappointingly we found about 20% of the shops empty.

Walking along Bridge Road in Richmond is interesting and fun. There are lots of boutiques, some with quirky names, and most with really nice things. There is also some well designed furniture and some food specialty shops.

Lots of great shops, some heavily discounted - others not. But on the day it was a great event for ladies...we were seven and had a great time.
