Plenty of nature, waterfalls and loads of tracks. Be aware of rainy season since streams can become big rivers in minutes and wash away everything! It is not advisable to use "normal" cosmetic produces, like soap or shampoo, since it is kind of a natural sanctuary over there!

Waterfalls, mountains, lakes, hiking, can not count all the attractions. For sure you need at least two weeks to do everything. Stunning nature and landscapes. That is for people who wants contact with simple and small towns, in Portuguese would be `pessoas sem frescuras`. The park area covers many cities, so be prepared to spend many hours in the car.... It was nice to walk in this region! To meet the local people. To enjoy the waterfalls and the canyons! You have to do this if you love the nature!

Amazing place, endless sights. Recommend the 4 day Paty Valley Trek to see the best sights. Book with HI Hostel and ask for Flor as a guide, he is unbelievable, as a guide, cook, entertainer, mentor etc etc. If you do the Paty Valley trek I would not do the Fumaca Day trip as you see enough amazing waterfalls, save... Loved driving the roads to the diffent spots and having the luxury of leaving on my time and not a tours time. I highly recommend grabbing a gang and hiring a car together to tour the sites!

I came to Lençois looking for the beautiful tabletop mountains. I had the most amazing experience out here. The thrilling experience of being at the top and feeling the fresh air and looking at the great views. It was amazing. I came to Brazil for this and I definitely fell in love. I wish I could view something like this... More

This is a most beautiful park. Spend the time and the money to explore it all and you won't be disappointed. This 1520km park has it all beautiful scenery, incredible waterfalls, rivers and if you are lucky a monkey or two. There are beautiful little towns in the heart of the park. The roads will wreck your car, so I... More
