Went here for lunch due to advertising of artisnal bread. We bought some bread, cheese, and a bottle of Gamey Rose and had it on their deck with a great view. They're not really set up for lunches but that wasn't a problem. Super helpful. The bread was as good as advertised. The cheeses were local as well. The Gamay... More

The best part about this winery was Wally the dog and greeter. The owner was quite obnoxious and we didn't like any of his wines.

This was the highlight of our winery tour of 2014. The fresh bread and wine tasting was so wonderful and the people working there were so friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely put it on your list if you are going to the valley!

It was busy when we arrived, but the service was wonderful and personal. The bread and wine pairing as a tasting was so unique. Great product, great service, and Wally the dog was cute and entertaining.

We stopped off late on a Sunday afternoon for a quick wine tasting and was fortunate enough to spend 15mins or so of in the company of Murray, the owner of Platinum Bench. He is very passionate about his wines and his vines and created a nice atmosphere to taste his wines. The Gamay was brilliant. Don't miss this one!

"FIONA BREAD FOR TWO!!!" is music to my ears! Murray shouts this to his wife (the baker) when you come in for a tasting for two. It's a small place, my guess 3-4 years old. But you can not miss it! One tip, if you like it buy it NOW! We filled our 4th case and were flying home, so... More

Everywhere we went, people talked about how great it is to eat the fresh bread and cheese and drink the great wines a Platinum. It is a rustic log house, a small kitchen and bar and a small but nice deck out back that looks out over the marsh area of the valley. It LOOKED great. Unfortunately, we could not... More

This winery also makes it's own artisan bread and tastings are paired together. Taste, buy and have your own picnic at a nearby view point or lake.

Everyone writes about Fiona's bread and they should, but this is a winery. Never had I found a gamay to push away a merlot. Before this visit I would say no to a Beaujolais even in France. I bought the Gamay Noir. What a surprise. That and some of that bread is a complete meal.
