We ended our winery tour with this one, which is good fun. Bruce is playing around and joking, but knows at the same time very well what he's doing: not only will people not forget this winery (you get the badge), but also, his Zinfandel is without joking one that can compete with the great Californians IMHO. A MUST visit!... More

On our wine touring, we visited several places but Rustico was by far the most fun! There are several photo op's inside and out. Instead of the elegant wine glass, after a long pour, you did your tasting from a saloon shot glass. It was entertaining and fun not to mention that their wines are great! They also have some... If you have a non-wine drinker in your group or are a newbie to wine tasting, this is a great spot to start at and let your, "hair hang down." The whole experience was entertaining from the laid back atmosphere and western décor, the shot glasses that were used to taste the wine, the jovial joking and the kid friendly... More

We stopped here during our full day wine tour and this place is incredibly novel. The decor is western and rustic and very entertaining. There were also 2 small donkeys that were there for the summer. The owner is awesome and puts on a good show. Even if you don't particularly like wine, this is a place you should check... More

This is a little something out of the ordinary in the realm of wine touring. The wines are good as well :) Lots of character in both the setting, the people and the wines. A must see!

After my second visit to Rustico winery I had to comment on this unique wine tasting experience. Bruce, the owner/operator was his usual charming self. His ability to provide an unforgettable experience is second to none. A sod roofed home with many artifacts strewn about piqued my interest about this place. First class service along with many choices of both... More

From the moment we parked up, I realised this winery was like no others we had visited that day. The interior and exterior had a distinctive charm about it, it was fun, full of character and had a welcoming vibe. The same applies to Bruce, the Wine warrior, who introduced the tasteful wines with tales, knowledge and humour. This was... More

my husband and I have been visiting the Osoyoos area twice a year for a mini-holiday since 2008. On our first trip, we drove past a few signs for Rustico and didn't bother stopping, as we hadn't ever heard of it and they were promoting their Zinfandel - which is not a particularly successful grape varietal in Canadian climates. However,... More

We were directed to this Winery by Gina at Oliver Twist Winery in Oliver. She had never been but had heard good things about Rustico! We arrived at Rustico shortly after and were pleasantly surprised. Although rustic in looks it certainly was not lacking in ambience and hospitality. Bruce was a blast, we enjoyed excellent wine and had an excellent... More
