My wife and I stopped in for a tasting in August. The winery was relatively busy but had a good vibe and staff were pleasant. We were seated outside on the patio where there was a DJ playing some nice music that accompanied the food and wine nicely. Our tasting host was very, very pleasant and knowledgable. There was no... We went for a group wine tasting. We ordered some pizzas and charcuterie plates to share amongst the 8 of us there. The wine was very good but the food nothing special. The pizza was basically just bread with a few ingredients on top. At the end they could not split up out bills as their system couldn't do that.... More

Did the full tasting accompanying lunch. Michael the sommelier, was terrific. Service by the wait staff was warm and friendly. Lunch selection was limited but getting it right. Appropriate choices for wine country. Views exceptional as with many of the vineyards. Next year I'll bet they'll greatly expand on the dining experience in all the positive directions.

Great experience! Greeted at the door by Kaileen, we were seated quickly. My father uses a walker and was able to access the patio table in the shade. Dale, our Evangelist was friendly and informative while he walked us through our tastings. Thank you to the kitchen staff, we tried all four pizzas and they were delicious! My pre teen... More

We arrived at the winery a bit late but we were promptly seated. Our wine person, Dale, gave us a really good overview of wines served. We tried all of their pizzas which were all great and unique. My favourite was the vegetarian, a very spicy pizza. Staff was great, food was excellent and the wine was fantastic. We will... More

We were going to the Wine festival in august. payed $99 for a whole night - and it was worth it! first of all there was a free shuttle service from our hotel. Second, there was two amazing shows that evening. Third, Delicious food and delicious wine all night. We had the time of our life!

What a great experience! A seated wine tasting with a "wine evangelist" that gives you so much information and is focused solely on your table. Loved it. Added bonus was the amazing food that came out of a cargo container kitchen. Pizzas and salad were so tasty. Most certainly recommend this to everyone!

Black Hills offers a unique wine tasting experience in the Okanagan. There are several tiers of wine tasting, with a portfolio tasting of 6 wines costing $20. This is not the place to visit if you're wanting to visit several wineries, as tasting will take the better part of 2 hours - this is the one to visit if you... More

This winery is the worsts winery we have ever been to, the customer service is crappy to say the least. Only two of our group was doing the testing, so we were seated on the patio. We ordered a pizza each for lunch, and the wine testing for two. One of the group asked for a glass of water, and... More

Dear Mags, My name is Glenn Fawcett and I am the President of Black Hills Estate Winery. I just read your review with great concern, and feel very badly that you had such a negative experience at our winery. I am shocked that one of our staff members would treat your request for drinking water in such a rude and... More
