In October, a friend recommended that we visit Le Vieux Pin Winery. We booked the winery tour and were not disappointed. We walked through the vines, tasted the grapes, learned about the winery's philosophy (low yield and high quality wines). Tasted the excellent wines, including a barrel tasting of the soon to be released lastest vintage of Cab Franc. The... More

It is a lovely little winery, with an old world feel to it. The staff were very professional and knew their product, giving us an appreciation for not only the wine but for the process as well. Loved it!

Le Vieux Pin produces some fantastic wines, the best of old world style and refinement and new world technology and flexability. The tasting room is always staffed with very friendly and knowledgeable people. A must stop when wine tasting in the OK valley.

The winery is quite small and intimate but my husband and I really enjoyed the wines there. They are similar to European wines. The only problem is that it was so expensive. I would have loved to buy a few bottles but couldn't justify the price.

In a word...elegant. The Belle Pinot Noir is outrageously good and the Vaila rose' tastes like it should...not at all sweet, simply refreshing, fruity and yummy. From the beautiful sense of arrival, and stories of hand-picked grapes, to pairing the right stemware with every wine, this is a do-not-miss wine experience.

I went because Wine Spectator gave its 2006 Belle Pinot Noir and 2006 Emoi Pinot Noir a very good rating (score 85 - 89) and 2006 Perigee Pinot Noir and 2007 Aurore Sauvignon Blanc a good rating (score 80 - 84). The staff in the tasting room really took time to explain their wines and winery. When we went tasting,... More

The wines were very good and done with a French style which we like. Also that weekend they allowed their winery to be used as a lunch stop for the Granfondo Bike Race which we thought was a good social and community thing to have done. Kudos for this winery!!

VERY expensive, who do they think they are. The wines were run of the mill priced like amazing award winning wines from long time established wineries.

No pretense, taste some great wine! Sister winery to La Stella where you get lots of information and passion so is a nice complement.
