A cute little sandy bay off the beaten track.

Less popular than Viking Bay, this was a quiet little place on the day we visited. It is a sandy little bay with colourful beach huts and little else. LOVELY!

No facilities open at Easter but nice sand and big expanse of clean sand. pretty beach huts, rock pools and a few shells. Good to walk along and look at cliffs.

One of the many beaches that one can explore that seem to stretch for ever in this magical area of our coast. All of them have something for everyone. This one is beautiful less well known and equally worth a visit.

As said it is stony awesome cliffs around ..we spent some time here just sitting there listening to the waves and breathing in the nature it was great. We saw so many people doing the same and it was delightful to watch people have a nice time with nature. But I like the Botany Bay the best... But this one... More

Love this little bay - the lovely walk, early in the morning and the lovely little individual beach chalets.

this beach is just round the headland from Viking Bay, but so different. here you can find a very long sandy beach, with a nice stroll to the headland to the next bay. there is one small cafe in the middle of the bay for that necessary icecream and a lifeguard station, but apart from that it is just you... This is my favourite beach in Thanet. Great for swimming, no loud arcades and shops just lots of space. Great for the kids, we have spent many happy days here this summer.

We had a long walk with our ninth class teenagers along the beach and everyone loved it (even if the teachers were a bit bothered by having to stop so often because of students making selfies - tourists). It wasn't the time of the year for swimming but it seemed like it would be very nice in the summer. We... More

If you can't be bothered with inflatable toys, school parties, and the busy town above- a short walk gets you out of Viking Bay to Stone Bay- clean sand, promenade with huts, and good protected swimming. A great place to laze the day away. In July we practically had the place to ourselves.
