I have been going to Broadstairs for 70 years. Recently I have enjoyed it once again. The beaches are amazing and clean and although the sea looks tempting I haven't been in for a long time. My little dog loves her walks along the top of the cliffs then down to walk along the walkway to Viking bay. A nice... More

Viking Bay is a first class sandy beach that can be found at the foot of Broadstairs town centre. With a wide range of traditional seaside activities, including the enormous giraffe inflatable that has been there for years, kids and adults love it. Sometimes it is very busy, at other times less so. A lift allows access from the promenade... More

You can just imagine the Romans and the Vikings landing in this lovely natural harbour. Sandy beaches, relaxed feel, lots of ice cream and afternoon tea venues, and shades of Charles Dickens. Fabulous family venue.

A very popular beach with visitors and residents alike. Close to restaurants and shops. Can get a bit busy on sunny days

Fantastic beach to walk for miles on or just sit & relax. The Tartare Frigate pub just off the beach will serve drinks in plastic glasses to take to the beach & enjoy. The town is a short walk up the hill with lots of cafes & restaurants to eat in. All very child friendly too.

Took a day trip out to Broadstairs, and found the beach to be very quaint, very clean and soft sands, with stairs down the cliff face, and a road drown to the beach, and a lift down for the weary traveller too. It's hard to miss the inflatable giraffe, but that's for the kids though :( , plenty of places... More

Beautiful clean sandy beach. On a clear day you can see the wind farm at the horizon. Cabines are plenty. Plenty restaurant from chippy to high quality restaurants awaits you. You even have Charles Dickens Museum facing the beach. There is also a very nice paved promenade to walk miles on with Pavilion and parks. High streets is just minutes... More
