Very nice, quaint, typical British seaside resort but if you are going for a coastal walk beware of all the dog excrement. People out walking their dogs everywhere with no leads and an inability to clear up their own mess! Partially spoilt what was a very nice long weekend visit.

We spent the afternoon here today the weather was beautiful & views of the beach was breath taking from a far for an English beach. However I note quite a lot of people throwing & disposing of rubbish on the beach. My children enjoyed the soft sand. There are a few rides on the beach not all was open these... More

The beach is very clean & very busy during July & August. The sea is clean, but for me it's too cold. Broadstairs is a lovely town- it's like you are in a fairytale and the beach is 'a cherry on top'!

Clean, safe, ice cream, seagulls mooching crusts, inflatables shop selling silly toys, kids swings, a lift to bring the old folks down from the promenade, swimmers from 5 to 95, a harbour with boats, a cafe, and a pub nearby. You don't need to be beautiful, you just need to like the seaside. What an archetypical gem.....

Been going here for 50 years, always good, very little change, traditional British seaside resort, very busy July & August but great fun and value out of season

Love this beach, it's always clean and well kept. The front is always lively and has a good atmosphere. I often go fishing off the peer and there's usually good people around fishing too

We have just spent a week in Broadstairs and were on Viking Bay pretty much every day! Such a clean, lovely beach. Great for kids and they also enjoyed going on the little rides and trampolines. Wonderful!

Viking Bay is such a lovely sandy beach, very clean even has a lifeguard on it so really safe for the kiddies and old fogies like myself. Plenty of people swim from the beach as it seems to gently shelve. They have even put a boardwalk down for mums with buggies but there are a couple of steps down onto... More

During our week in Broadstairs we went to Viking Bay every day. Sandy beach which is swept regularly and not too far to the sea as tide does not disappear to the horizon. There are things for the kids to do and a lift to help move everything from the top. Dogs are not allowed in summer months which is... More
