We planned a shopping trip here having picked up a leaflet a few weeks previous . Our excitement soon faded once into the complex .Most of the units were empty and those that remained open were expensive or uninteresting .

Having lived in Hornsea for many years I've seen the fortunes of Freeport change quite a bit. Built to replace Hornsea Pottery that went bust it started strongly as one of the first (if not the first) Freeport in Britain. In those days it had lots of excellent shops but gradually many of these have left and been replaced by... More

This used to be Hornsea pottery now it's a bog standard shopping centre! There are two cafe/restaurants, do not eat in the cafe! The food is rubbish and the staff are not very friendly, go to the farm shop opposite, it looked a lot better. It's full of the usual low cost budget shops, surprised primary wasn't there. Don't bother... More

We go to the Freeport three or four times a year.It is bat in a nice environment with plenty of free parking. The shops are individual buildings. Unfortunately over the years alot of shops have closed and there are plenty of empty shops at the moment. There`s a couple of cafe`s,Poundstretcher,a couple of shoe shops,Reggatta,Tog 24 and other clothes shops,a gift shop,card... Went Easter Sunday weekend and the shops were open, Children were searching for eight bunnys which were hidden and when found got an easter egg, so kept them amused. Free car parking in two areas and toilets at both ends of the shopping areas. Nice and relaxed walk round and a good choice of shops with Clarks and Edinburgh Wool... More

Hornsea Freeport is a number of well known outlet shops in one location. All in individual buildings. Giving a village feel as you wander from shop to shop. Clarks, The Works and Edinburgh Woollen Mill stand out as notable well known names to be present. Unfortunately only 50% of the retail outlets are currently open. Which maybe an advantage to... I enjoyed the shops, there wasn't many but the ones there were nice, good variety. café was run down and disorganised. Food however was very tasty and well priced. just don't ask for anything not on the menu, as they do school like service. The walk around was long and I think the cafes should be spread out instead of... More

Not to my liking, hardly any shops and the walk ways were covered so if its raining you've shot it really. Plus side the staff where lovely in one shop as we didn't know any places around they helped us out which I thought was really nice
