We went as a couple on a weekday out of holidays. 14.50 each per adult. The cable car ride is good, but as a few people have said not a huge amount to do when up there. Quite a lot of young noisy kids around, and if you do have kids its probably better value for money as looked like... More

My wife and I visited Matlock Bath with the sole purpose of having a ride in the cable car, and what a marvellous trip it turned out to be, the views were breathtaking, well worth the price, which also covers the entrance to the two mines, the food in the Vista Restaurant was good if slightly expensive but when you... Given the rather iffy 'chips with everything' surroundings of Matlock Bath, we were expecting a rather flaky experience of this relatively expensive tourist outfit... However, we were pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff, the lead mining tour and the other attractions, including a very decent cafe with good views. The cable cars were well organised, exciting and worthwhile, making the... More

Great views from the summit but this can be achieved from many other viewpoints across Derbyshire at no cost. The investment in the cable cars deserves a positive response from the public and they are an enjoyable novelty making up a large proportion of the entry ticket as there isn't a huge amount to do once on site. That said,... More

The cable cars are amazing and the views are brilliant, however other than this there is not much to do, there are a few things to do, including a large play area, with a huge slide, and walks, but other than that there is not much for those who don't enjoy, well, walking. However it is quite a good activity... More

There are so many good reviews for a reason. Been there today for the first time, what a gem of a place. Car parking can be a bit of a pain, costs about £3.30 for 3 hrs and from there is a walk to the station. A family ticket costs £44 but if you look like going back again and... More

If you plan to visit everything, be prepared for a workout. Steps, hills and more steps. That said, a very enjoyable few hours. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Special mention for cave guides Jack and Helen. Cafe also nice. Only took a few hours to do everything so a bit pricey at 14 quid each. Ok as a one off. Maybe... More

The cable car ride offered spectacular views and once at the top there was plenty to keep the family occupied. It made a Change to have every thing included in the price too! The staff were young and enthusiastic and helpful. The kids really enjoyed the eastern egg hunt and this had been well thought out .
