Went here for a day out with my Dad and Stepmum visiting from South Africa... We only live in Derby so this was ideal for a Sunday day out... Thought it was a bit on the expensive side as there was 5 adults and 2 children and the cable car can only accommodate 6 people so we had to pay... More

Some great views from the cable cars and the hill top. Cavern tours interesting but try to avoid ones with lots of kids, the guide cannot be heard over them due to the acoustics in the caves. You have to pay to park in the railway station car park, you'll need at least 3 hours.

My 17 yr old took one look at the cable car and decided it wasn't for him! I (also no head for heights) foolishly got into the cable car and spent the entire ride with eyes shut, wishing I'd walked! Rest of familly loved it as they aren't bothered by heights. Once at the top, it's not scary at all.... More

A great experience, the cable car, the caves and the views, wow! We parked in the train station, 3 hours for £3.30 was reasonable value. Make sure you go, good value and not to be missed if you are in the area.

Good day out for families. Cable car ride is spectacular with amazing views. Caves are well worth a visit. Food and drink a bit pricy, £7 for for bottles of water £9 for a cheeseburger and chips!

Took our two grandchildren there (6 & 2). Arrived 2 ish after going elsewhere first so the £37:50 was a bit steep but go earlier it's a full day. Lots of ducking and loads of steps down the Masson caves si carrying a two year old was a chore. The guide, Steve was knowledgeable and helpful even with the cringe... More

I was pleasantly surprised at this attraction. Good parking at station but would go early as gets busy even during weekdays. Cable cars are reached via railway line footpath. Steep slope to ticket office. Great cable car ride. Stopped midway to take in the views. Not so good for those with a fear of heights so be warned. Upon top... More

Myself and my wife decided on the off chance as we were staying in Darwin forest to go visit the heights of Abraham. Very glad we did. Ok my wife was a little nervous on the cable cars to start off with and has to be said not for the faint hearted but great views. We did both the cavern... More

Went with our three year old and she loved it. Cable car was fun and the playgrounds were brilliant and felt really sturdy even when adults were climbing all over them. Guided tour of the caves were with a funny tour guide Steve. Quality of the food in the restaurant was really good and the ice cream was yummy.

Fantastic views and a pleasant experince if you don't mind heights, the cable car pauses for a few minutes near the top so that you can admire the views. I thought this was quite expensive at £15 pp, as you only get one journey (once up and back down) although you do get entry into the great masson cavern included,... More
