This was a lovely day out with step daughter and step grandchildren. I was nervous on the cable car as was their mother but teenagers loved it. Great views. Restaurant food was good and view from outside added to ambiance. We enjoyed the one mine visit, you could go to two and enjoy walks around attraction. Lots to do for... More

Although we hesitated over the price - £14 per adult!-I really wanted to go in a cable car! The ride was thrilling, and once at the top there was loads to do and see. The caverns were interesting and very well guided. We had lunch in the café, with spectacular views over the Derwent valley. We even went on the... More

The cable car ride up to the top was great, fantastic views and photo opportunity. The cable car fee includes the entry prices to the caves at the top. Once at the top there be prepared to walk some very small tight stairs up to the top of the tower for the best view. The guided tours down the caves... More

Once they've got you up at the top you may as well do all the other attractions. Need to be fit to climb up and down the steep paths and in the caves. Cable car ride thrilling but only go up if you don't mind heights.

The cable cars move quite fast which is ideal if you don't like heights. The cave was brilliant also. Again, a picnic is a good idea whilst you're up on the hills.

Definitely worth a visit but it is a bit pricey. Cavern tour was good and the cafe is reasonably priced.

For a nice outing the heights of Abraham are quite good. yes the cable car is a little expensive but more than worth the money to save the walk up to the top. At the top is a nice cafe which is spotlessly clean with the food and drinks being reasonable priced. The walk in the caves was intresting with the... More

Fantastic views of the Peak District landscape and beautiful Derbyshire countryside are from hilltop park on Masson Hill which is accessed by a dozen gondola cable cars running to and from Matlock and the river Derwent 170 metres below. The alpine style cable cars were opened in the mid 1980’s however, the park is a Victorian attraction with exhibitions and... More

We've had a great day out! Our little boy totally loved arriving by cable car - what a great way to start the trip. He wasn't disappointed when he arrived at top either as there's not one, but two, great adventure play parks!! We took the guided cavern walk which was really informative and just the right length to sit... More
