Quite expensive but it's worth saving up for. Everyone will have their own opinions on this activity but if you like your history, especially caves, then you will enjoy this little trip.

The cliffs are not as spectacular as many others in this part of England but the added interests of a cable-car, caves and fossils make for a good/interesting day/afternoon out. There are also some figures carved from tree trunks. I have uploaded a few of my photos for a small sample.

the heights of Abraham is by far one of the best places me and my family ever went to. we went there in March for my sisters birthday. And enjoyed the cable cars and the salt courses and adventure park, and ice cream buffets, and much more at the top of the mountain. when we got to the top, we... More

With breathtaking scenery I enjoy this trip very well. There are mining cave which you can know about the history about this place. The facilities are good where you can have a breakfast, lunch here. The toilet is clean and everything is good. Finally, you can buy beautiful souvenirs for your family and friends.

a great way to spend an afternoon, especially if with young teenagers. A good blend of adventure and education the film show before going underground helps you make sense of what you see....and the history of the miners is especially well told. With all the additional facilities and attractions above ground, there really is something for everyone

Been here a few times. Great day out. The cable car goes slow up the hill so it's good for people like me who get scared of heights. Good views on a clear day.

From the start at the base winding house the staff were polite, interested and helpful, the entire site was nice and clean, the tour guide zac was enthused and knowledgeable. Well worth more than 1 visit.

The walk up to the top is probably more fun than the cable car if you're young and fit, plenty to do once you get to the top +beautiful veiws

Still questioning the wisdom of our decision to queue for an our to spend in excess of £65 on a two minute Cable Car ride with a quarter of that being left dangling & motionless two thirds of the way up,(very unnerving). Thought the return journey might be a little more enjoyable but it wasnt. The charge for this should... More
