My wife and I were staying locally and decided to try a visit to the Heights of Abraham. Initially the apparent cost of the cable car ride to get there from near the railway station might have put us off but as "over 60s" we got a discount anyway. The bundle of things on offer included in the price promised... More

Visited the heights of Abraham went on the cable car good views. Went into the caverns which were out of this world and the guides make it interesting and fun, so children would love it. At the very top the views were breath taking. Would recommend taking a visit.

My family consists of me, my wife and children aged between 13 and 7 years old plus a 1 year old. The most off putting thing about this attraction is the price but when I considered that we got a cable car ride, up to 2 different guided tours in the caves as well as the ability to climb the... At first we were a little surprised that it cost us £30 to get up there in the cable car - but it was worth it. The Masson Cavern is really interesting - made even better by our excellent guide. The shops are good and the restaurant serves excellent, modern cuisine. The views are spectacular and everything is really well... More

We went on a lovely afternoon the view was incredible and the kids loved the play areas (the gigantic slide was a big hit) and the mines.Recommended.Just don't forget the car park at the bottom...another machine that doesn't take credit cards...but they don't appear to enforce it..LOL..(-:

We didn't plan to visit this place but we stumbled across it when we were driving around the Peak District. A little expensive, nearly £15 per person to go on the cable cars and to the attractions on the other end but it was well worth it. The views were spectacular and the cafe was pretty good! Definitely worth a... More

Visited on saturday the 7th and had a very nice time. The cable car was swaying a bit in the wind but we all got to the top. The kids loved the playground and the shop. Gemma who took the tour round the top cavern was very good. Spent the whole day there, well worth the money. Park at the... More

This was a superb attraction for so many reasons. The cable car ride to the top, the views, the lookout tower, the activity areas and the history cinema, not to forget the cave tour with brilliant Gemma. With 2 families we all had something to enjoy and were not disappointed. The children came away with their very own ore samples... More

I didn't plan the weekend, it started with a trip to Peak Rail at Matlock and then we came here. The cable car ride up to the top gave stunning views over the valley. I'm not great at heights but I was reasonably comfortable - so I wouldn't let that put you off. The cafe and shop was well presented... More
