The view from the cable car on way up to the top was amazing. We had coffee at the cafe sitting on the outside terrace, views of Matlock Bath down below lovely. The caves are a must and very interesting. Our quide was very informative and also amusing. The kids loved the play areas. Highly recommend you visit.

Thought this was going to be a quick ride on the cable cats and then off to another attraction nearby. We spent the day there. Once on the top there's a lovely outdoor playground near the cafe, there was a punch & judy show on when we went. Don't know if that's a permanent feature or not but it was... More

We visited with two grandchildren ages 7 and 3 and we all really enjoyed it . The price of the cable car entitles you to all the attractions ,we went into the caverns and the children enjoyed all the different play parks and the Punch and Judy show , we stayed for 6 hours and could have had longer if... A promised ride on the cable cars at Matlock Bath turned into an exciting day out for Grandad and his two grandsons aged nearly nine and nearly eleven. They all loved being a little scared when the cable cars stopped near the top. The boys enjoyed the cavern, the ice-cream, the adventure playgrounds and the gift shop! They were less... More

We visited this attraction a few days ago and decided to take our dog Mac along with us after checking on the website what areas dogs would be allowed into. Our children are aged 17 and 14 and both of them were keen to visit. We parked in Matlock about a 20 minute walk to the cable car and Matlock... More

After paying for the cable car service the rest of the attractions are free so making it well worth the initial outlay. The caverns are a must with knowledgeable guides who make the experience a pleasure for the kids ( my 2 boys 11 & 6 years) loved it. They explain the history and have visual light displays and images... More

The cable car ride is great. Very quick to board and queues moved very quickly. Bit scary when it stops part way up to allow you to enjoy the views. At the top there are many attractions and a good cafe/restaurant. A good day out.

It's been many years since I was last at the Heights of Abraham and as you would expect it has changed somewhat over the years. This is a great place to spend the day whether with the family or not. Lots of places to visit and things to see and the views are wonderful. It's reasonable priced at £14 for... More

We were two families 4 adults and three children under 7. What a great time we had. The food in the restaurant was great if not a little expensive. The kids thought the punch and just was fun and spent hours on all of the playgrounds that there are dotted about! The views from the top of the tower are... More

Heights of Abraham is a great day out and its nice to say good value for money. We used the cafe which was clean and good quality if a little expensive. The place itself was clean tidy with plenty going on.Enjoyed the cable car journey too which is part of the ticket, well done!
