Description: An unforgettable day
A visit to the Dolfinarium is an unforgettable day...
An unforgettable day
A visit to the Dolfinarium is an unforgettable day out for the whole family. Because how often do you get the chance to meet dolphins, take a close look at sea lions and touch sharks?

Use all of your senses
You can easily spend an entire day at Europe's largest marine mammal park. Take a stroll from the Dolfijnendelta (Dolphin Delta) – where newborn dolphins swim – to the Zeehondenzand (Seal Sand) where common seals live together with grey seals. Listen to the rowdy sea lions and see with your own eyes how enormous walruses are. At the Roggenrif (Ray Reef) you get to meet some smaller inhabitants of the North Sea. Sea bass, rainbow trout and anemones, for example. You can observe them closely and learn all about these interesting creatures. You can even touch the sharks and the rays.

 Eye to eye
Of course you get to take a close look at our marine mammals. There are eleven unique shows in which the dolphins, sea lions and walruses show you their best moves. Be amazed and moved by their extraordinary appearance!

Animal welfare first
The Dolfinarium has been around for nearly fifty years. Over the years we have done a lot of research and made a significant contribution to the protection of the animals in the wild. Animal welfare has always been and will always be our top priority in our research. We take care of our marine animals with a lot of love, passion and respect.
And it shows: the animals in Harderwijk grow (a lot) older than their congeners in the wild and every year many babies are born in our park. As the main sponsor of Stichting SOS Dolfijn we are proud that we are able to help increase the well-being of the animals.

Extremely, extremely overpriced!! There is a restaurant down below with a nice 360 view of the walruses and dolphins swimming around, very nice idea, however the tanks for the dolphins where very dirty, filled with floating algae throughout the whole tank, and they have been open since February for the season and with the amount of visitors and euros per... Hadn't been for 15 years and went last week and enjoyed every minute of it. What a lot of people don't realise is that this is a place for injured sea animals ( often by us humans) to get well again and because they have been looked after/ treated by humans they cannot be realised into the wild. The shows... More

This is a place which will give children as much joy that a Disneyland would give. For that matter, adults who still have a child inside will equally enjoy as well. If you have been to similar demonstrations in say Singapore or Dubai, you may not be as excited as me. For me, this was my first ever Dolphin, sea... More

A very lovely park. .. not too big but enough to see and discover. The park offers several shows both inside and outside, an underwater view of the dolphins, a chance to touch some fish. . We will definitely return!

We had the chance to buy online tickets on the 2nd of January at a reduced rate (€17.50) which included a free hot cocoa. It was around freezing with strong winds, so it was welcome. Upon arrival you can buy a day pass for the parking, which costs €8.50. You can pay by the hour (€1.70) if you plan to... More

Very interesting and enjoyable place to go with family. Check a bit in advance for the dolphins and sea lions show time, in order to guarantee a good spot view. Not a very big place, but a worth to spend at least 3 hours to see everything, enjoy a good coffee and to see the animals being fed.

My Oma, who lives in Harderwijk is a member and with her membership, she gets a big discount on guest tickets. Without which, it's pretty expensive especially for someone like me who doesn't particularly like animal attractions. I did enjoy what I saw. Even though the shows are entirely in Dutch, they were fun. Our daughter was only 16 months... More

Nice place to visit once or twice. Have been expecting more from show with dolphins, as 30 minutes is not so much indeed. Show with seals was very good though, but 25 minutes is a bit short also. However, we loved to see the underneath aquarium at the end! But a price of 25 EUROs per person with 10 EUROs... More

Very disappointing. I expected much more. Nothing to do there more than 2 hours - and only to see the shows.
