We have just returned from Tuscany and wanted to share our experience at Il Cocco winery. Giacomo Bindi has taken over management of his family Vineyard and has created a small masterpiece. He gave us a history of the vineyard, his family and of course the wonderful wines that he makes. After a fantastic tour we had lunch on the... More

Our first trip to Tuscany and appreciated meeting Giacomo and the wonderful winery tour. It was the highlight of Tuscany. Look forward to enjoying the wine we had delivered. Loved his passion for wine making.

During our time in the Tuscany region, we were able to visit quite a few wineries in Montepulciano and Montalcino. Il Cocco was our favorite place. The wines (Brunello and Rosso) were wonderful, and Giacomo (owner, wine maker) was a wonderful host. This is a small production winery, and Giacomo took the time to explain his entire wine-making process. We... More

Our tour and tasting with giacomo was truly spectacular. He was very informative a and his passion is beyond words. It is a very small vineyard, and the entire experience will never be forgotten. He even let me label and seal my own bottle, which we brought home with us! Among many other special bottles.

We visited Il Cocco as part of our Very Tuscany wine tour and absolutely LOVED it!!! Giacomo was amazing....spending so much time with us explaining the entire process of winemaking, allowing us to taste his wines paired with chocolate and cheese, then sitting us down in his dining area and serving us lunch! It was so neat to be able... More

My mom, her friend and I visited this winery as part of a larger wine tour in Montalcino and this was by far my favorite, both the visit and the wine! Giacomo is incredibly hospitable and so passionate about his work. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, and answered everyone's questions. Both the Rosso and the Brunello were phenomenal -... The whole experience was unique. Giacomo wears many hats well. Owner. Winemaker Guide. And in L lll' . Our case waiter since we stayed for lunch. The wines were wonderful and the food extraordinary This is a real gem. It's not a slick tasting room type destination but that's what makes it special.

I chose to visit Il Cocco solely based on the positive trip advisor reviews and I'm so glad we did. I was a little nervous when we arrived and discovered that it was just my husband and I doing the tasting and tour, there were no other visitors. I was afraid it might be awkward with just the two of... More

We would echo all the sentiments of previous reviewers. Having visited larger wineries before, we appreciated the homey, farm-like atmosphere, yet the high quality professionalism of the production operation. Giacomo was generous with his time and warm in his hospitality. The family-style lunch was one of our best meals in Italy and we are home now, working to duplicate each... More

After visiting several of the larger wineries in Tuscany, Giacomo Bindi's very personal tour of his vineyard, Il Cocco, was a highlight. He is such a dedicated and passionate vintner, and is eager to share his knowledge and experience with potential customers. He spent close to two hours with us, during which we learned so much and tasted his delicious... More
