Wine and Hospitality cant be beat. This was my second visit in 6 years and looking forward to more. The tasting room is casual and relaxing. Daniel was our guide and could not have been more Gracious. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed, but Daniel made us a local lunch reservation and arranged to have us bring our Poggio wine with... The wine was pretty good but you taste it in a small room with a commercial feel. Each wine is separate and quite expensive so it's not really worth it. Plenty of more authentic experiences. I wouldn't recommend stopping here

We arranged a tour and as an add-on ate lunch at the lovely restaurant. The food was phenomenal and the whole outdoor terrace setting was lovely. A very peaceful way to enjoy an afternoon in Tuscany.

We booked the tour, tasting and lunch reservations in advance based on a friend recommendation. I recommend you do the same, especially if you want to have lunch after your tasting. Trust me- you want to have lunch as the food is phenomenal. We missed the tour but the hist at that time gave us a quick view and we... More

Our visit to Poggio Antico was one of the best afternoons in Tuscany. The wines were outstanding and we learned a great deal about Brunello wines during our wine tasting. When we returned to the U.S. we order a case of wine. Paolo and Daniele provided outstanding customer service. We were so pleased with the wineries service, follow through and... More

Our visit to Poggio Antico exceeded our expectations. The manicured vineyards, olive groves, cypress trees, and panoramic views make it an ideal backdrop for your Tuscan vacation photos. While some may consider the wines expensive, they are world class and worth every penny. We tasted (and purchased) "Madre", "Lemartine", and the 2004 Brunello di Montalcino. The big surprise is the... More

A bit of sign-posting would have gone a long way - we wandered around for quite a while trying to find the tasting room. Wine tasting was quite expensive (but it was for expensive wine so perhaps understandable). Setting was gorgeous

We, the four of us, scheduled our wine tasting tour several months in advance and changed the day a couple of times, while planning our week. Well, I made a mistake and we arrived on the wrong day. Not to worry, the folks at Poggio Antico were very accommodating. What a beautiful place and the wine was Magnificent! Our tour... More

My friends and I booked a tour and tasting at Poggio Antico this October. It was my second visit and their first. The tour was very enjoyable, covering all aspects of their production and our guide was very personable and answered all of our questions completely. The tasting is held after the tour in the nearby tasting room. You may... More
