I brought my wife here for her birthday and we were both thoroughly enchanted, smiling the whole time. The gardens were so beautiful, flowers everywhere, great diversity. Waterfalls, bamboo forests, and a place containing fine art dedicated to Romeo and Juliet, and Psyche and Eros. SO ROMANTIC !

This is a lovely villa with some interesting arts inside, but the gardens are outstanding with incredible azaleas and rhodedendrons. A must for garden lovers.

The Villa offers everything if you love gardens with lovely walks and magnificent views from the actual Villa itself. Spent a very peaceful couple of hours here.

The two best things about this house for us were the climb up to the entrance (and the views back over the lake), and the wonderful gardens which are perfect for exploring and getting lost in. Yes the interior is also stunning with the beautiful statues and cameos that everyone talks about - and the cafe serves a great espresso... More

A really beautiful villa typical of Lake Como. The rooms, with ornate ceilings were awesome, the views spectacular and the gardens were just gorgeous.A definite must on your agenda.

We love nature... This exceeded my expectations and the views of the lake were amazing. We didn't get much from the building but the gardens... A MUST!

The gardens are exceptional against the backdrop of the Italian mountains and lake. The villa was a little bare by our national trust homes standard but still worth the climb up the front steps

Beautiful gardens. Will be even better in about six weeks time when more of the flowers will be out.
