It would have been nice to get a better view of life at those days. The botanical gardens are an amazing experience with rich regions taking you between various flora. Doing this... More

The gardens ranged from woodsy and waterfalls, to palms, cacti, manicured and naturalized landscapes, with some great views of the lake interspersed along the way. A nice visit on a pretty day. The villa interior wasn't very interesting.

The grounds of Villa Carlotta are amazing, they go on forever and are totally different round each bend in the path. So pretty with spectacular views of the lake. The villa itself is very interesting with incredible ceilings. Well worth an afternoon visit.

this was a very nice softly paced walk where you just really get to enjoy the scenery, just pick a day with good weather and go here. there are quite a lot of small nice restaurants closeby as well so you can make a halfday of it with ease.

If you like a nice walk in a Botanical Garden, than it is worth visiting. The Villa itself is very nice. If you take the tour pay for both garden and villa.

Fabulous garden and views from it. Interesting house. Could easily spend all day there - returning in the Spring when the garden will be even more beautiful.
