Well worth the entry fee of 9 euros. Great views, some floral displays and artwork. Allow 2 hours plus.

we visited the Villa Carlotta twice - once in the evening to a concert in the museum, a small string orchestra playing a selection of Vivaldi which was most enjoyable and the views over the lake with lights twinkling on the far shore when we came out was beautiful. We went back next day to look around the villa itself... More

Beautifully maintained gardens with lovely views of Lake Como. The villa is small and interesting - 3 floors of art and furnishings from the time of Carlotta's family.

enjoyable visit within walking distance of hotel. Rooms with paintings, painted ceilings and, on upper floor, furnished. Lovely grounds.

The garden is absolutely beautiful, and very interesting. The artwork in the villa is idiosyncratic but enjoyable.

Gardens and Villa outstanding. The gardens are famous for there trees and shrubs and are best visited in April and May but were still offering a good deal of colour at this time of year.

Another must see Villa. The garden has several paths. Good walking shoes needed. A horticultural dream. It is huge. Visit Gardiner first then the villa. You will not believe the view from the 2nd level coffee the villa. The stairs are massive...but there is a lift if u cant make it!

another superb villa with beautiful gardens - we always promised ourselves we would go back to Tremezzo to visit the villa and we did - over 65 price is 7E: otherwise 9E unless you are 20 persons plus the gardens are perhaps better suited to a real horticulturist but it was a pleasant meander on a lovely afternoon:loved the lift... Beautiful gardens well worth a visit. Very up and down so not for people with walking problems. Tea room was a welcome sight as it was really hot walking around.

Went there with the family. Old not too charming villa. Very little to see. Ok view from the villa towards the sea, but again you have fascinating views from many villas along the lake. The admission is 9 euro for an adult. It is at most worth 3 euro, that is if you would not prefer doing something else.
