We walked here from the Albergo Villa la Mirabella, so it was very convenient. The grounds were especially fun to walk through and the views from the balconies of the villa quite nice.

The Villa is outstanding and offers a stunning back drop and views of the Lake, our second visit. This time during the winter, the gardens and Villa are kept in spectacular order and its very well presented with helpful staff. A must on your Como tick list.

set in outstanding surroundings overlooking Lake Como. Such a beautiful villa. Tip; Get there early in the morning, you get the villa to yourself!

This is an absolute must for Lake Como. A stunning Villa with spectacular gardens. A lot of history and well presented. They also had an exhibition when we visited. Lovely.

The ferry actually stops right by the villa or a few blocks away at another ferry stop. The villa is nice enough, but there is not that much to see inside. We found the huge garden area more interesting. It covers a lot of acres and has several strange pieces of art on display.

Saved this until our last day, but we're glad we didn't miss it. The house is good - but we didn't spend too much time inside. The gardens are simply spectacular, with plenty of variety in the pathways. Plenty of places to sit and rest, and enjoy the views. Great value for the entrance fee.

We got the water taxi over here not expecting much and we had a great time wandering around the house learning all about the family that lived here. The gardens had an art show on too when we visited and that was goo too. Worth a visit if you are there, but not a special trip to it.

The villa is beautiful itself, and the gardens are delightful! We had limited time, so we spent about an hour and a half looking around inside and out, but I would have loved to have spent another hour strolling around the gardens, and leisurely taking it all in. I would recommend giving yourself 2-3 hours to fully enjoy it at... More
