Lovely to wander round the many paths and see views of the lake. We had a drink in an outdoor cafe which did food. I'm not sure if it's the only place but would get very busy as only a few tables. The house isn't spectacular inside, but is still very nice

Wonderful gardens and house. Probably best time to visit would be in April when all of the azaleas and rhododendrons are still in flower, still beautiful in May though.

Delightful garden. surprisingly tranquil, with fabulous views over lake Como. You can easily spend a day here and it was very accessible from the ferry.

It has refreshments, you can go inside the Villa, the gardens, well we would have stayed more than the 4-5 hours there, well worth the money.

Excellent old charm lakeside residence with exceptional gardens. Photo opportunities are abundant. Come rain or shine there is something to see and enjoy and soak up the history.

A walk through the gardens at the right time of year reveals a large array of flowers. The gardens are well kept - almost manicured. The inside of the villa is breathtaking with its works of art on display

We made the trip over from Bellagio specifically to see the gardens - and we weren't disappointed at all. They are extensive and beautifully maintained. In our opinion so much more impressive than i Giardini di Villa Melzi in Bellagio. Please make the effort - the car ferry is only 15mins each way and runs every 30 mins to Cadenabbia,... More

By late May, the azaleas and rhodedendrum flowers are well past their best and the gardeners are busy planting out the open beds for summer colour to come. There is still much to see and marvel at, for anyone keen on plants and trees. The mature trees are beautiful specimens from all around the world, originally laid out by the... More
