I really liked it!!! It had lots of medieval pieces, I think everyone should not leave Rhodes without visiting! Entrance fee was 6 euros when I visited!
Perhaps a little fragmented due to the room sized, but its all there. Somewhat overpowering in total content one cannot resist the amazing contents of the next little room.
IF YOU LIKE ANCIENT HISTORY, VISIT THIS MUSEUM. Don't visit the beautiful ancient walled town of Rhodes without going to the Archaeological Museum with it's quiet gardens. Talk to the young students or assistants about what you see. Fascinating and beautiful. We loved everywhere in Rhodes Old Town.
A really impressive museum. We thought we'd spend a half hour walking around but ended up staying for 3 hours. It was so interesting and well laid out. There are some incredibly beautiful bits of sculpture in the collection. Whatever you do in Rhodes Town you should not miss this.
I love this museum. I visit everytime i go to Rhodes. To be able to see such wonderful pieces of art from thousands of years ago is amazing. It is a continual source of inspiration for my textile and art work
You have to visit this museum - it has a maze of rooms on various floors: some stunning mosaics and wonderful artefacts from Rhodes, Kamiros and Lindhos. A treasure trove and to be enjoyed. Only 4 or 6 euros and a bargain at the price!
We booked a guided tour in Old Town and it was definitely worth it. We learned so much about the history and the location. Lots to see, not as crowded early in the morning. Great to tour the streets early when it is cool and do the inside of the buildings and museums when it gets warmer during the day.
A great visit, plenty to see, a do not miss experience. Its the hospital that the Knights started and youj can feel their presence.
