This is the more popular beach of the town, but we preferred Windy Beach. On Elli Beach the dun beds were very close to each other, so you really had no privacy. It wasn't a bad beach, but we just liked Windy Beach better.

Its a pebbly beach (versus sand), with a great dive platform that will keep the older kids entertained. You can easily rent a couple of lounge chairs, and nice background music in the background. I didn't like ladies insisting on a massage (but if that's your thing, its only 20 euros for like 20 minutes). Conviniently located right outside the... More

Beach is fine. The water is clean. You can find a spot if you come early. The bad thing about this beach are the people that pass by every 2 min trying to sell you stuff. It was annoying.

2 sunbeds and an umbrella cost 8 euros, there are lots of sunbeds and they're not too close together. There're lots of people selling bracelets, sunglasses, drinks, doughnuts, fruit salads, massages etc. Unless you want to buy something, don't make eye contact! Otherwise they will come over and I don't want to label everyone but some may want to pickpocket... More

The beach is gritty. The beds are 4 euros a day which we thought was good value. There are massages offered but expensive. There are guys who come round with fresh fruit and cold drinks.

We loved Elli beach. Loved the guys selling 'Mangos, fruit salad, ice cream', and loved hearing them every twenty minutes! Loved the little bars at the top of the beach selling snacks - very affordable - and loved the sea. Although the beach does shelve fairly quickly, because the water is generally so calm, t's a great beach to swim... More

Pebble beach, needs sand shoes. Don't expect to have a sleep as lots of people trying to sell the usual drinks and doughnuts etc and they do shout a lot. Just politely say no thank you.

Windy, but not too much wind... There is a lot for sellers at the beach shouting all day... Melonas, Masage, Coca cola etc... But not too disturbing...:)
