This is in my opinion the best beach in Santorini. Great to have service from the restaurants and bars across the beach and it's free in most places if you buy a drink or water from the bar, Also great to be able to go for a bite to eat at any of the great restaurants across the beachfront. If you are visiting Santorini island, take some time to go to the beach. Perissa beach is a nice choice with its black sand and pebbles. You can have a relaxing time and rent chairs and sunbrellas . Drinks and food are available too.

I have never really been too enthusiastic about swimming but after buying a new swimsuit for my holiday and swimming at the beach in Perissa I have definitely got more keen. The crystal clear Aegean sea was surprisingly warm and we had small fish swimming around our feet. The water got quite deep just off the beach so we didn't... More

For going to beeches go to other Greek islands. Santorini is great for amazing views, but the beeches are just average

We are native Californians and we have never been to a black sand beach. We visited late in the tourist season and we were worried it might be too cold, but it was lovely. The sand was so warm (apparently it gets pretty hot when the weather is warmer) and the water was perfect. It was clear and deep blue... More

Lovely beach with beautiful sunsets and plenty of restaurants, and tiny shops. Good place for an early morning run.

This is a quite version of Kamari Beach. There are shops, hotels etc here just not the boardwalk of shop after shop. Very pretty & perfectly relaxing.

The only place in the world where I haven't been bitten to shreds by sand flies. Very hot sand so wear your flipflops! The sea has very clean water. Perfect beach with lots of restaurants and bars with a beach service. You can even book a massage on the beach!

The sand on the beach during the summer is HOT-uncomfortably hot without shoes, so be prepared with good shoes. It offers great views of the island that are different from traditional white-sand beaches. It also is a great spot for some night-life with dancing in a few of the restaurants overlooking the water.

although a volcanic beach, it was good and if you bought a drink or ate at any of the restuarants opposite you could have a sunbed and unbrella free on the Beach.
