We loved this beach. The water is deep blue and clean. Try one off the plenty restaurants in beach front.

Black sand is completly different than usual sand and it is a great expirience. When you go to water there is a hard surface (rock bottom) on the floor. This is the... More

It is one of the two black sand beaches in Santorini and the beach has some shops which open in summers only. Few Rocks just by side of beach along with the nicely crafted hill by nature will make a perfect shoot for sunrise.

I loved how quirky this beach area was. There is an amazing vibe amongst the people there, definitely good people, good food, good energy, good music, and just a good place to soak in the Grecian vibe for an afternoon or evening! Also wonderful live music on many nights!

Long black sandy beach with clear waters. Plenty of lovely beachside restaurants and good beach facilities.

Good trip out on the bus. Very easy to manage leaving from bus station in Fira. However not worth the effort. The sand was very hot.

A great way to spend a lazy afternoon - set sail for the beach armed with sun block & your beach gear as the water is an inviting blue. This is a popular beach stretch with dark volcanic sand, so it tends to be crowded....Plenty of restaurants & water sports centers to chose from. If you enjoy the beach this... More

With a lot of little beach plea and restaurants to choose from a great way to spend the afternoon at the beach. The black volcanic sand gives the water such a beautiful deep blue color. Being from the beach in Florida , a great day at the beach means relaxation, im fellas, places to kick back and eat or drink,... More
