Worth a hike

Such beautiful water everywhere! This rocky hike is worth it, even on a hot day. Very nice views of the sea and the bay from there.

Had a wonderful walk out to the lighthouse in over thirty degrees Celsius and so the opportunity to swim in the delightful cove on the way back couldn't be passed up. Best to swim off the rocks as the cove is stoney and slippy but not even two jellyfish put us off the relief of the crystal clear waters.

This is a fabuous short - and at the end steepish - walk from the town. We walked up there in the late afternoon (passed by a little electric passenger tram, complete with French commentary) and were rewarded with spectacular views: back to the town and the bay, over to the Cap Corse, and out to the sparkling open sea.... Nice hiking trip with beautiful landscape. Orange rocks on blue water: really a good contrast for a photo.

It is a fairly steep walk up to the Light House but the day we went there was a lovely breeze and we enjoyed the stroll. The views from the top are worth the trek and it is a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours

Nice gentle walk up a road that occasionally features a tourist train passing by... but walking allows you to take pictures from WV very vantage point / angle. Deep blue and green water. Each step seems like a post card slot in some direction. Worth the time to explore. Wear sneakers if you want to go off road and explore... More

The view from the lighthouse is nice but no more, it's not a climb for the frail of limb and is only just worth the effort expended.

You cannot drive to this lighthouse so need to park just before its private road. If every one took their car up it would be chaos! Anyway it is a nice walk along the smooth path which is not too steep but not for people reduced mobility. The view is good all the way up and there are thoughtfully placed... More

Our visit was during a very windy day, so it was quite a lot of fun trying to stand in front of the wind. The lighthouse has nice views, but thats about it. The building is nice, though. On the way you can see a small beach that you can try to walk your (dangerous) way down to, but maybe... More
