Ryan the owner is a knarly dude! I came out to Santa Teresa for a yoga and surf retreat. I'm from the Dallas/Fort Worth TX area so as you can imagine I have absolutely no experience surfing and with Ryan's lessons I was up and surfed my very first wave on the first try all the way into the beach!... My boyfriend and I live in Switzerland and decided to take a surf holiday in Santa Teresa. We felt so lucky to have found Ryan, the owner of 360 Surf Shop and School. We "interviewed" many surf teachers and immediately felt confident with him. He is a wonderful teacher who really wants people to learn how to surf, patient and... More

We stayed in Santa Teresa for 3 weeks! This is the best surf shop in Santa Teresa. We took many surf lessons with 360, rented a board everyday and it was absolutely amazing. The owner is a fantastic guy and our trip wouldn't be the same if we didn't go this shop for renting our boards and for surf lessons.

Ryan the owner is a great person and teacher. His lessons are very possitive and he is very helpfull with everything. He has patience and you can laugh with him! He drives to a beautiful beach further away where its more quite and really special. We really recommend him!!

My new wife and I were referred to Ryan (owner of 360 Surf) by a nice gal named Heidi who runs Joy Spa in Santa Teresa. Ryan was nice and polite, an American who clearly cares for his customers. He was very enthusiastic about surfing and gave a fun and structured lesson covering the basics of surfing. We checked out... More

My friends and I came to Costa Rica thinking we can learn surfing on our own. After renting a few boards we soon realized that it is not as easy as it may seem. We decided it was time to try a lesson and we went to 360. Ryan was our instructor and he was great. He went through all... More

After moving to the area I decided it was time to buckle down and buy a board. There are lots of shops in the area, and ultimately, I chose 360 because of how friendly Ryan was. He asked me some questions to see what I wanted out of a board and see where my skill level (or lack there of)... More

I buckled my surfboard and was looking for a rental surfboard to replace mine. As a sponsored water sport athlete, I was looking for something a little more advanced which I couldn't find (for my size) anywhere else. At 360, I found exactly what I was looking for and for a great price. The shop has boards for every level,... More

As a family from Colorado completely outside of our comfort zone on the water (rather than snow), these guys had us riding the waves within a few minutes! It was no surprise to see my 15 year old skateboarding/snowboarding son standing up in no time, but my non-athletic 19 year old daughter and skier/cyclist "old guy" self were standing up... More

Regularly hired boards here during my stay in Santa Teresa and they were great at 360. I'm a big guy and getting a board to suit starting out, and then selecting the right boards as I progressed, was really important. Ryan is a really friendly and knowledgeable guy, and my girlfriend and I benefitted hugely from his lessons. As beginners... More
