Very remote, this atoll is a great place for snorkeling, diving and kayaking. On a nice day, the number of shades of blue in the water are amazing. Accommodations are adequate.

Great reef and dive site. If staying or diving from Hamanasi a great 3 dive reef trip. And "only" 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours each way by boat from the resort. A much shorter "commute" than other 3 tank reef trips.

fine staff. rustic but very comfortable accommodations. even with bad weather we had a fine time. Boat ride back to mainland a bit scary with large waves and VERY fast boat.

We did dives at three sites with Hamanasi's boats and each were beautiful and diverse. There was one spot that was pretty choppy, but everywhere else was smooth as glass.

There is a great little tiki bar at the Marina and you can also buy gas there if you have a rental vehicle. Nice clean bathrooms and also showers you can use. Everyone was very friendly.

We could only go snorkeling because my husband isn't PADI certified yet (although you can get certified while you're down there) but it was still beautiful. We floated around with little effort because of the current and saw so many amazing creatures. No wet suit necessary, the water is perfect all yearlong. The kayaks were not comfortable and not cleaned...ever! There were no amenities...they couldn't make change.. I felt like I was intruding on someone's home. Not very professional at all. The river was beautiful though!

We dove there 3 times and saw everything you would love to see on a reef - sharks, eels, rays, turtles and amazing tropical fish.

Some of the most colorful coral I have ever seen. Glovers is great for both diving and snorkeling. An hour and a half trip from Hopkins.
