I had a great time snorkeling in the world's second largest reef! The waters were kind of choppy getting out there but once we got the crystal blue waters it was calm. We were given instructions and then let out of the boat into clear waters with great visibility. A ton of colorful fish darting around, rays, groups of barracuda,... More

We were there on a too chilly day and the ocean chop was a rough ride. WE found one place on the reef though with warmer waters and needed to stay in that environment

Lots of wildlife, large fish, turtles, eagle rays. Several sites to dive around the reef. Not as colorful coral as some places but a very nice dive nonetheless.

Spent our first week in Belize on Glovers Reef. As I understand it Becky and her son Warren were kind of raised on the reef and definitely have that laid back Island attitude. They don't really talk much but that is OK once you understand its just their way. I felt a little Island fever the 2nd day as there... More

Easily some of the best diving I've encountered anywhere in the world. Coral I'd amazing and the marine life varied and interesting. It's a beautiful area out of the water too and made for a great day.

Research into turtles, Nassau Groupers, over fishing issues. It has a very nice walk around the island, and the reef is just off shore.

Glover's Reef is run by the Wildlife Conservation Society as part of its world-wide conservation efforts. Here they monitor marine life like the Nassau grouper, which spawns here, the Hawksbill turtle, which is endangered, and other species. You can take a short self-guided walking tour and have a simple lunch between visits to other islands. But, be advised, Glover's Reef... More

Nice to know a place like this still exists on earth. I snorkeled for an hour by myself and didn't get bored.

Glover's Reef is a great place for snorkeling. We saw amazing coral formations and many species of marine life. There wasn't much to dislike except for at the time we were there there was an abundance of stinging larva in the water. Not a big deal, just mildly uncomfortable.

Very remote, this atoll is a great place for snorkeling, diving and kayaking. On a nice day, the number of shades of blue in the water are amazing. Accommodations are adequate.
