Nice but small

NIce museum with details about each shark explained in Portuguese and English ... However, it is quite small and doesn't need more than 15 minutes to walk through.

If you like to see dead shark scellets this is the right place. I get afraid, just see this before to go on a boattour around the island dosent make you feel that you want to go in a dive after heheheh

The news about sharks is that humans are a far greater threat to the survival of these animals than the reverse of that equation. In graphics and photos, this museum goes a long way toward dispelling many of the myths that linger about these sea creatures who are deserving of our respect, but rarely impinge on our safely enjoying sea... More

a tourist trap to buy worthless CHINA-souvenirs with NON-Interested staff and complete fairy tales on sharks

The island doesn't have a ton of public art or architecture, and at the museum, there are some great outdoor sculptures and grass to let the kids run around on. The museum is small but interesting, and the bar that is attached to it seems like a great place to hang out.
