We stopped here on the three island tour which is commonly given from Holbox tour guides. Apparently some Mayan king was here and he mentioned something about the fountain of youth.. I don't know if he was just rambling but the place was genuinely nice! Lots of wildlife, great tower overseeing a vast amount of land, and the water is... More

Very nice tour from Hamaca's by the Faro Viejo (old lighthouse). The lagoon has a elevated observation post, very good view of the completely undeveloped yucatan, very nice. Lagoon is crystal clear, no trash. Mechanically, they need to do a little work on the ladders and pathways getting back to the lagoon itself. Would definitley go back.

This is a great place for snorkeling, especially for kids, but it can be pretty crowded, thus the best is to get there as early as possible. We initially made the mistake to snorkel on the right side of the lagoon, it was Ok, but we later realized that it was even nicer on the left side. The depth never... More

Lets start saying that this is located in the middle of the jungle surrounded by mangroves. You could say that, it is a little roustic, but I guess that is why you go. Its a little cenote with cold sweet water that makes a very refreshing couple of hours dive and swim. Thats it. There is not much to it... More

Enjoyed the three hour boat tour that took in this lagoon. Tiny fish and crabs in abundance. The beer was the perfect end to a perfect day.

Lots of birds, fish, horseshoes crabs, stone crabs, snails, tiny fish... and the ceviche your guide will make when you get there is the best you'll ever have.
