Bucket list, once in a lifetime, take your pick – sign up to this adventure and you will have a truly wonderful day and a fantastic story to tell your friends. Our guide Mosquito and the captain (sorry not sure of name!) were true professionals and we felt very safe in their hands. I confided in Mosquito that I was... More

We had a wonderful trip with Gustavo as our magnificent guide. It took a while before thye managed to find the whaleaharks. But as a bonus we then also saw and went snorkeling with manta rays. We will remember this trip for a very long time with a Big smile on our faces.

I highly recommend a trip through this company. They are professional, safety-minded and fun! Gustavo, our guide, was the best.. They only do small groups which makes the experience much nicer and you can go in the water many times. They limit the number in with the sharks to two at a time. We saw many sharks and manta rays.... More

We booked with Holbox Whale SharkTours on the strength of their Tripadvisor reviews and we're not disappointed. The booking process over the phone with Rick was easy and friendly. Once we got to the island we had a message at our hotel that our appointed trip day may be at risk due to the weather and lack of whale sharks... More

I don't know which tour company I used, so this site will have to suffice. It was pretty expensive BUT, I'd do it again tomorrow. We were out about 5 hours. There were two pods of Dolphins on the way, both were performing for us. Leaping, running along under the bows etc. So, that was a good start. We found... More

Great trip , we'll organized . We saw lots of whole sharks and manta rays , had loads of opportunities to swim with both, all the tour companies seemed respectful of each other's space and the animals , there was about 10 boats out and lots of room ,. This was not a side show , Gustavo and our captain... More

This was our favorite experience on the island (besides relaxing on the beach)! Glad I talked my hubby into it (he thanked me later). Gustavo and Enselmio were wonderful and made the best ceviche (pescado fresh from the fishing boat) we've ever tasted! Don't even think about it, book this trip now!

There are others but nothing like Holbox. Their waiting area is so much nicer than the others, serve breakfast of fresh danish, juice, and coffee. Very good!!!!! Clean restrooms too. Lunch was a sandwich, and plenty of soda, water, beer. After our first dive we had a fresh slice of pineapple. Great to cut the salty water. The captain went... More

I chose the standard tour and was impressed by how extensive this tour was. Not only did we snorkel with whale sharks but we also saw manta rays, dolphins, flamingo, pelicans. We also snorkeled in a reef area while the guides prepared ceviche, which included lobster we bought directly from the boat/diver. Marvin was fun and Vincenteheldmy hand while swimming... More
