We stopped here during our island tour but facility was not fully open yet. We did peek into the operation and the delicious smell of molasses was wonderfully overwhelming! There is a spot for kids to play, not too far from the tasting room/gift shop.

compared to other distillery/brewery tours I've been on this one was different in the fact that there was no guide. It was nice just touring at our leisure to see the manufacturing process and then enjoy a rum punch. Probably the best rum punch I've ever had as the punch is made by hand every morning in a large tub... More

I very much enjoyed touring this facility. They have done a fantastic job of making it tourist friendly and a very beautiful spot. You can do a self-guided tour which is free of charge. I found it very interesting to read the information boards and to see the processing being done. There are several buildings with displays and also a... More

After reading other reviews on Tripadvisor and knowing other rum distillary tours were kind of 'touristy', we opted to go here. We were so glad we did. It was a little tricky finding the place (we stopped to ask someone out in the yard of their home, the directions - we were very close to the entrance by that point... More

A great afternoon out, you can tour the working distillery for free. We paid to do the tasting of the basic and premium rums and learnt a lot about how Bajans like to drink their rum. Definitely worth a visit.

Our primary objective was to taste the rums. We paid an extra fee to taste their premium rums and spirits. It was a fabulous introduction to all the high-end rums and spirits. They have a real breadth of styles. The person guiding us was very entertaining and helpful. We also visited the various museums and self-guided tour. All were good.

This is our third visit over the years, and it has always been quiet and peaceful, without the tourists or regular daily tours that the more commercial Mount Gay distillery organises. Why it should be so quiet I don’t know, but I’m always glad it is as it is a peaceful oasis and a delightful place for an hour or... More

I'd heard of foursquare for years but never driven past it or thought it would be a fun rum tour. One day, on the way back to The Crane, we came across it. The long entrance gives no indication that there is anything to do here, but a working distillery. We pressed on; passed an odd rummery themed children's park... More

After looking at trip advisor for which rum distillery to go to on Barbados, we chose Foursquare. It lived up to expectations! We had a hire car so drove there. Firstly the self guided tour (follow the yellow feet on the floor) of the real working distillery and bottling plant was amazing. Felt more real than tours back home in... More

Fortunately we took a bus to the distillery, so didn't need to drive home. The self-guided tour was much better a presentation than the Mountgay Commercial version, and was free! The tasting bar was staffed by Debirah and Wayne, who presented a knowledgeable, entertaining, tasting at a very reasonable price. a local lunch-truck provided local food for lunch and the... More
