We only knew about Foursquare as our hotel recommended it. Really glad we made the effort to go-it was great to see a real distillery (rather than the Mt Gay Visitor Centre) the rum smell in the air was delicious! We loved the rum tasting and the little museum was fascinating. Would recommend if you're a regular visitor to Barbados... More

On our last trip to Barbados, we decided to go to Foursquare. Having been on the Mt. Gay Rum Tour on a rainy day several years ago, we were expecting the same type of commercialized tour. This was very different. You walk along at your own pace following yellow footprints on the ground and reading informational signs along the way.... More

Lovely grounds and you can walk around the factory. Informative signs means we did without a guided tour, and all free! TIP. The tours from the cruise ships tend to go mid morning and just after lunch. Avoid those times! The bar staff are great to chat to which you can only really do with no crowds around.

Well I've done the Mount Gay rum experience a number of times. It used to be very good years ago but now is just a quick sales pitch and a few 'free' tasters. So we are driving back from Bottom Bay to Oistins for Friday fish night and drive past the Foursquare rum distillery. We had an hour or so... More

We caught the bus from Bridgetown to the Foursquare Distillery. On the day we visted the American ambassador was also visiting. The first thing to note is that if you do a self guided tour it is free. We choose to have a guided tour with Dawn and it cost $5 per person (10bbd$) The history of the place is... More

The drive to get here is very enjoyable. It passes through sugar cane fields and the rural country side. Our group was here on a RCL cruise excursion. The staff at the distillery is very good. The tour was short, about 30-45 minutes, but was well presented. The tasting room was a bit dark and dreary. But the rum was... More

This was a great place to learn a lot about rum. The guide was very knowledgeable, and I thought the whole process of making rum was interesting. At the end of the tour, you get to try some rum samples.

What a clean, tidy pretty place this is and most educational - not commercialised at all. Felt the Folk museum could do with a little more stuff in it! It felt as if they had just run out of things and given up a little.

With a short time in Barbados through our cruise ship, we booked the cruise’s rum factory tour. Our first stop was Foursquare Rum Distillery and Heritage Park and the second stop was Mt. Gay Rum Factory. If you really want to know about rum making, do the Foursquare tour. We had an excellent guide and actually got to go through... More

We where In Barbados for a day while on a cruise and rented a van for a day to do some sightseeing on our own. We visited several places that day including Foursquare. We read about FourSquare Rum before our visit and it did not disappoint us. We read about Mt Gay Rummery and wanted to visited something more then... More
