The drive to get here is very enjoyable. It passes through sugar cane fields and the rural country side. Our group was here on a RCL cruise excursion. The staff at the distillery is very good. The tour was short, about 30-45 minutes, but was well presented. The tasting room was a bit dark and dreary. But the rum was... More

This was a great place to learn a lot about rum. The guide was very knowledgeable, and I thought the whole process of making rum was interesting. At the end of the tour, you get to try some rum samples.

What a clean, tidy pretty place this is and most educational - not commercialised at all. Felt the Folk museum could do with a little more stuff in it! It felt as if they had just run out of things and given up a little.

With a short time in Barbados through our cruise ship, we booked the cruise’s rum factory tour. Our first stop was Foursquare Rum Distillery and Heritage Park and the second stop was Mt. Gay Rum Factory. If you really want to know about rum making, do the Foursquare tour. We had an excellent guide and actually got to go through... More

We where In Barbados for a day while on a cruise and rented a van for a day to do some sightseeing on our own. We visited several places that day including Foursquare. We read about FourSquare Rum before our visit and it did not disappoint us. We read about Mt Gay Rummery and wanted to visited something more then... More

We had been told about the Foursquare Distillery by some other travellers and decided to give it a go. The grounds are lovely as it is an heritage park as well with lots of old equipment. it is clean and very well kept, but if you are expecting a guided tour of the factory then this is not for you,... I have to completely agree with the previous review. This property has very nice grounds and some really cool buildings BUT the tour is self guided. I would have really enjoyed have a knowledgable guide to answer some questions. We were with a cruise group so we on a timetable and had to rush through the factory part of the... More

Let me start by saying that my husband and I first tried Foursquare 10 years ago and cannot get it in our part of the US. We have been craving it ever since. The Mt. Gay tour is very 'corporate' and you don't get to see the full rum making process (you used to be able to but they have... More

We went on spec to see this distillery and whilst we were very glad we went to have a look on the downside the place is run down - don't let your kids see the playground area - all rusted metal and the rum was more expensive than buying in the supermarket HOWEVER on the other had we paid to...
