Went on their daily brewery tour and the guy showing us round was very friendly and knowledgeable and showed us the whole of the process, much more than you could get to see on similar tours at larger breweries. Got to taste all their beers at the end including their current whisky-cask-aged special - very tasty!

Had sampled several Purple Moose beers at the Rails & Ales Festival and our group voted the "Dark Side of the Moose" the best beer! I stocked up on souvenirs and beer at the visitor's shop.

A good selection of tastes to whet the palate and very happy to sell a mixed box of all their products.

While holidaying in Porthmadog in October we decided to book the brewery tour (liking beer helped!). We were one of 3 couples, so a good size for what is a small brewey. Our guide (Kev) was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic and clearly enjoys his work. He made it a relaxing session, rather than a chemistry class and was very happy to... More

Have been here several times over the years and always come home with a load of goodies, the shop is reasonably priced and offers samples to try before you buy. Next time we go our daughter will be 18 so I guess she'll enjoy it more!

Popped in for a gift for a friend. The sales man was very helpful and I even picked up a bottle for myself. Delicious!

I tried purple moose's beer prior to the visit to the shop and wanted to have a look. It was different from most of the breweries I've been to, as it was more of a shop. They do offer a tour, but I recommend setting it up in advance, unlike us (as it was more spur of the moment), because... More
