Was picked up at the hotel. Had a English guide called Simon who was great and knew his stuff. Stopped at the new reservoir with the village under water. At a little village with few raki tasting and cheap to buy. The plateau was amazing, Zeus cave which 4Euros to get in and is just a cave :( but worth... More

Joining the Safari Club Crete you become part of an alternative experience. Although the term "safari" usually refers to the jungle, in Crete the Safari Club offers a different point of view. Friendly and helpful driver, a chance to visit small villages, mountains, cross rivers and lakes. You can see the land and the sea from above, watch semi-wild goats... More

Where to start?! This was one of the best excursions we did whilst in Crete! Simon our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable, we did not stop laughing all day! By the end of the trip it was like we had all been friends for years. From spotting wildlife and passing through the various villages in the mountains, to hearing... More

Me and my partner was really looking forward to this excursion and we were really impressed. Our driver/tour guide Darrel was very knowledgable and really passionate about Crete. We learnt a lot. The food at the tavern was gorgeous. You really get to experience and see how beautiful Crete is. Thank you safari club it was definitely a trip to... More

We went on the Chania tour last week, and have to say that we were slightly disappointed. The driver was excellent, and a great source of information, but it was just not what we were expecting. We were told several times when booking to make sure to bring walking shoes, so we did - lugging them all the way from... More

We had a brilliant day out seeing Crete away from the tourist bits. Geoff our driver was great and very informative, quite funny though Geoff you really need some new jokes!! Saw lots of goats, even one up a tree! Stunning views. Lunch at the taverna was very yummy and you got a good choice. Would definitely recommend!

This was a wonderful way to see Crete and to discover places we may not have found on our own. Geoff, our driver, was hugely informative and highly entertaining and his love of Crete shone through. We found his descriptions of life in Crete fascinating - and his insight into the local way of life gave a new perspective on... More

Simon, our guide, was entertaining and very knowledgable, the drivers combined were like a comedy act. That said they took very seriously their aim that everyone should see the sights and learn the history of places in Crete that we would not otherwise have explored. The only drawback was that everyone took 2 turns in the back of the landrover,... More

Me and my mum came on a trip here when we were on holiday in Crete last week. We had been told by a few people who had already visited Crete (friends and family from Scotland!) that it was a good day out so we decided to do it as it sounded pretty good. It has to be said though,... More

Great way to see a lot of crete. The driver Daryl was very knowledgable and friendly. Lunch was lovely. Thought we would have gone more off road in the 4x4. Good value for money and an excellent trip to go on.
