This was so much fun!! My 3 yr old and 10 yr old had a blast! You take a chair lift up to the top of the mountain. Gorgeous views!

While visiting Germany and Austria in August 2014, we went to the Alpine Coaster in Imst, Austria. The ride up the mountain was on a ski chair lift, where we saw some breathtaking views, in addition to those riding the coaster down the mountain! We had some amazing adventures on this trip, but the AC was the most FUN! Once... More

We travelled from England and did a 10 day drive around Austria. This was one of our stops. We were apprehensive initially that we were going to get stuck behind someone slow and ruin our ride but we needn't havebeen. I don't know if it's worse later in the yeah, but in May had a huge gap between us so... More

brilliant toboggan run, 3.5km long. it will have you laughing and screaming along the way and leave you wanting more. It is in a beautiful area and had a lovely walk from Imst, through Rosegarten Gorge to get there. Sat after for a drink then walked out way back down. Took about 2 hours walk up, but work it, and... It's has been our top ranked destination during our trip to Europe in Oct-2014. This is a destination not commonly visited by taking group tour. A bit difficult to find a car parking lot during peak season. But worth it all after taking the exciting Alpine Coaster.

I directly live in Imst and I really like to ride the alpine coaster. It is really so much fun, great scenery and the ride is longer as i first expected. But: if there are lots of people (which happens a lot especially in summer season) the chance to get stuck behind a slow one is really big. But there... More

We went up with the chairlift, in which you have a beatifull view on the mountains and a good view at the Coaster Track. The cart was very comfortable, long track were you can really speed up. Just a lot of fun to do!

At almost £10 a go it’s quite expensive. That said, if you buy a ticket for one go down the Alpine coaster the chair lift up to the top is a nice experience and there’s a cafe at the top for something to eat and drink, so your £10 each tickets could last a couple of hours. Easy to find... More

Not as good as the many videos you see of this posted online. Great scenery and certainly lots of fun. Its just not as much of an adrenaline rush as we might have hoped. Also, the rules on what you can and can't take down with you don't make much sense. The girlfriend could take her handbag but I couldn't... More

My family and I rode this 6 times over 3 visits and had an amazing time - what more could you want that mucking about on a roller coaster in the Tirol on a sunny day with your sons and wife rattling down a mountain - go early and you'll have it all to yourself and it'll be who's the... More
