This is a pretty high waterfall that you pass on the Yala-Ela road. It has a few touristy shops around it but is generally unspoilt. You are not allowed swim there and would not be an ideal spot for a picnic, considering your surroundings.

A beautiful fall by the side of the road. So easy access. No need to walk far. Just stopped for pics. It's more worth if u are taking a bath cause there's a gap where the water is easily accessible without worrying about slipping. Apart from that there's nothing much to offer. I kept thinking why nobody's thought about climbing... More

I came across a story that the Ravana Falls which is located along the main road is not the original Ravana Falls. The Original Ravana Falls could be seen when you walk along the railway track????? Some one please educate us?

We visited in March and there was plenty of water. It is right ON the road so most people just turn up, take a photo, and leave. But if you are a waterfall lover such as me, you can zone out the other people and just enjoy the falls. You can also walk up and find a nice quiet spot... More

It's an touristic spot, but to me is an impressive one, can skip it without regret. We passed it when we were going to the Nuwara Eliya Lake. If you want to see the falls, I highly recommend to go to see the St. Clair Falls better.

We stopped as we were driving by on route to Ella. Worth stopping to have a look but tonnes of tourists and really just a photo opportunity.

We too the bus down to the falls (30 rupees) but we're disappointed on our arrival. You hope off the bus and the falls are along the road. Once you've sat on the rocks and taken a few snaps there isn't much more to do but return by bus back up.

Beautiful waterfall, nice to climb a little & sit down to take it all in. Although, be careful & watch your step!

Be cautious of the monkeys-they are curious & could grab small items especially food. & purses We saw the falls after a rainstorm & it was at it's best

To be honest I expected a little bit more from these waterfalls. They are nice but not more, you can spend about half-an-hour there. One good thing are the romping monkeys ;-)
