When it gets late, things get a festive feel with locals and tourists alike walking around, enjoying the atmosphere and trying out the yummy street food. It could use a little revamp or cleaning up, but it ain't too... More

I visited during the day when it was fairly deserted and scruffy looking. The museum in the university grounds at the Northern end of the boulevard was worth a quick visit. Was told it comes to life at night so better to visit then.

During day time, the boulevard is quite serene. The sunrise along the boulevard is breathtaking. At night, the boulevard is bustling with activities. There are zumba dancing, couples and families strolling around, children playing, people eating along the boulevard (with chairs and table provided by the food vendors).

This stretch could have been a good place to walk but it is sooo dirty. People loiter and litter such that trash was all around. It seems there are no street sweepers all over Dumaguete city. I hope their local government does something about it. As a local tourist I am saddened by the horrible sight of rubbish flying all... More

Rizal Blvd. has some restaurants and bars nearby but generally the area is kind of dirty. A lot of panhandlers and homeless just hanging out here. Nice view though.

with rapid urbanization and the onslaught of mall culture in the philippines, it's consoling to see that dumaguete offers a place that's clean and safe for people to enjoy a relaxing stroll along the waterfront or to eat in an outdoor cafe with the view of the ocean.

It is always fun walking along the boulevard. Breeze is cool. The sight of boats in the pier area. People in the shoreline looking for clams. Relaxing, how i wish we had similar in Cebu to get rid of daily stress. Dumaguete is really special. My wife and son enjoyed the moment. Like any other places. always don't lose sight... More

I wish manila bay would be this clean. To the people of Dumaguete, please keep your blvd neat and clean, thank you for doing a good job in making it a tourist spot. Keep the WOW factor, keep it simple and neat. We loved the big trees that we saw, and the vendors who kept the blvd clean,
