Drop by this church on a walking tour from the market, to the park and Belfry, and on the way to Silliman. As with any old Philippine church, it has colorful antique tiles and gilding. It's not too special except for the columns topped with statues at the gates.

It's always a practice for me and my wife to pass by the nearest available church whenever we visit a place. Nice facade, clean floors/pews and a quiet place to do meditation. But seems window bays are dirty and have seen several empty bottles of bottled water dumped on it. We also noticed that old 20-watts flourescent lamp is installed... More

The Cathedral is a landmark in the city and very well maintained. It would be great if there were NOT a parking lot right in front of it and a garden instead to accentuate the beauty. The columns in front with various saints on them adds some uniqueness to it, however there are other old churches in the Philippines that... More

On a short visit to Dumaguete, we asked the van driver to take us to the main church of Dumaguete and we were taken here. It was a nice short stopover to say a quick prayer and appreciate the inside of the church before heading for Siquijor.

The church is well maintained. Although the structure is obviously quite old, there is no danger that the any part of the church might collapse any time soon. The floor and interiors, as well as exterior, of the church is very clean. Walking distance from Rizal Boulevard and fast food chains. Accessible to public transportation. In front of the Plaza.

As a traveler and father.. i visited the church on morning of my birthday with nowhere to ask for guidance and thanks. Spiritual healing works.. What the physical partner could never provide. God always gives me time.. time to heal woulds.. a good place of worship.

Went to the English mass on Sunday morning. The priest was a bit difficult to understand, but overall the mass was the same as any other Catholic church. The music was good, and the church not as crowded as the previous mass in Tagalog. Overall, a nice environment to spend time with prayer and meditation.

The church was nice and there was a grotto by the entrance to say prayers. The Philippines is dotted with these very nostalgic places of worship.

When ever i visit Dumaguete, i never fail to pass by here and pray. A modern architecture of a church. If you want an antique feel of a church and this is not a place to be. Truly a place of worship for Catholics.
