Paje would be the place for surfers. Although the beach has few decent accommodation places and is home to the wild full moon parties, it is quite remote and off the beaten track. Great for surfing , not so great for peace and quiet!

I stayed with a couple of friends at Michamvi Kae and visited a group at Paje for dinner. Great to see them all but geeze the beach is a death trap, full of kitesurfers buzzing around so good luck trying to enjoy a nice swim. The fact that you have to run a gauntlet full of little shops set up... More

An absolute woth while trip. Yes it is a bit off the beaten track, but that is why it is such a beautiful and stunning beach and area. Please make an effort and visit this strech of the country. The surrounding village is friendly and easy going with mild mannered fishermen and the local restaurants and hotels are all stunning.... More

I loved the sand of the beach, which is the finest i ever exoerienced. and it keeps your feet cool. Amazing that instead of heating up, it cools down.

Even in the rainy season, storms move pretty fast and it's sunny and beautiful with white sands and greenish turquoise waters.

this is where the white sand beach is. the ocean is marvelous! low tide will offer you an opportunity to walk a few miles into the ocean.

This is by far the best beach on the island. the white sand is powder soft. the water is as beautiful with the mix of sand and sea grass but what really makes it the best is that it just goes on for over 30km. there are woman harvesting sea weed, kite surfers, dhows, fishermen etc. this is by far...
