Amazing sand on a relatively quite beach. There are facilities for kite surfing, diving and snorkelling etc but this is not a built up area at all.

This is a brilliant landscape for photo lover. Not great for swimming; super for relaxing waiting for the sea to be high enough.

- not so windy when i was there. - possible to swim. no rocks. and not so much seaweed. - better beaches at the north Kendwa/Nungwi.

Great beach but get ready to walk in case of low tide. Color of water is amazing and the sand is pure white. Can spend hours if not beach boys were not around to disturb you.

Paje beach is relatively clean but every once in a while you'll find broken glass and rusty pieces of metal buried in the sand. The beach that stretches from Paje down to Jambiani is simply fantastic if you are looking for a relaxing beach holiday. With low tide you can walk over the sandbanks to the lagoon and swimming is also possible with high tide directly from the beach. There is plenty of accommodation facilities, restaurants and bars where you can have a drink.... More

Beautiful sand beach. Perfect location for sunbathing and relaxing or for long walks. I suggest to rent a car so you can move from beach to beach as per your needs.
