white sand, green/blue water, magical moon-rise nightly - why would you not choose Paje? Tide goes out a long way daily - walking on the sandbar is fun. You have to take a boat to snorkel - not much snorkeling right off Paje - you have to go north a bit. Windy - but not excessively - if you like... More

Silky white sand and a turquoise lagoon - picture perfect! Watching the kitesurfers practise their moves when the wind picks up and ending up at one of the south east coast beach parties (there's one every night somewhere!), eating fresh seafood and fruit juices. The hotels on the beach are boutique and open to the public, so there are no... More

Nice beach and rustic and local, which is good. But a bit of sweep to take the rubbish off would do no harm.

Paje beach is a just fantastic white sand beach which is totally taken over by the kite surfers. If you don't mind bathing and swimming surrounded by surfers the beach is wonderful especially at high tide. At low tide you have to walk 500 m extra to reach deep water. The restaurants along the beach have the worst service we... More

Nice beach, safe with lots of places to hang out and go out (food and partying). Really good if you are into surfing, kitesurfing or windsurfing. There is a cool kids sort of vibe going on there.

If you are looking for a tranquil holiday this is not the place to got to. One of the buzziest beaches on the island. But if you are looking for people and don´t want to eat all your meals at the same hotel this is a good spot for you. A long stretch of beach made for beach walks, but... More

It is a beautiful beach, especially at low tide when the sea seems to retreat for miles. The Maasai are wonderful to talk to and the Ndame Beach Lodge has fantastic food! A great place to relax.

Fantastic beach. What paradise to walk along the sand on this deserted beach. The views are breathtaking. The Mamas farm seaweed here

Kiting, snorkeling, relaxing, good food, in touch with locals. You can have a jog in the morning (recommend between 6,30 - 7,00; afterwards the sun starts to be too strong). Be aware of "beach lovers", politely refuse offerings of fake Masai guys. Doesn´t worth it.

I'd never experience a beach like this before, apart from the beautiful white powdery sand and turquoise sea, when the tide goes out it's just amazing! Great for walking out and seeing the kite surfers do their thing!
