A great place to go if you want to see turtles, and swim with them. However their should be more rules and control over interacting with the turtles as I've seen on numerous occasions guests screaming and kicking at the turtles when they get to close to them. Which is highly unacceptable.None of the staff speak good English or seem... More

Not much to see for 5$ - 27 turtles that ate some sea lettuce in a small salt water lagoon. The staff didn't speak much English and don't say much. There was a bunch of 2 day old baby turtles that were placed in big basins and fed tiny fish. The only other thing to see is a regular tortoise... More

the entrance fee is 5$, and there is not so much space inside. If you have never seen the water turtles you can visit it, otherwise do not worth visiting.

If you go as far up the island as this, its a must to go and see this natural lagoon, fed by the sea water. The work these people do is good for the turtles. They collect eggs and hatch them, look after them where they will end up in the lagoon when big enough then eventually release them back... More

Best place to see the sea turtles and to swim with them. Great staff and entry fee goes to a good cause.

Nungwi was the new paradise to as we did many luxury activities over there. We had good time to enjoy with local people in Zanzibar and share their cultures. Actually it was a nice trip with a lot of new knowledge from Nungwi.

A real surprise to find and only a short walk along the beach from our hotel. The staff showed dedication and very knowledgable, who encourage interaction with their charges and visitors, like feeding turtles withe seaweed.

We had an opportunityo to feed turtles, and for an extra 5 USD, you can swim with the creatures in water as well. Had fun feeding them with the seed weed, and interesting to find out that they never get satisfied, so they are always feeding!!! :-o :-D
