What a great week scuba diving around North Zanzibar. 7 days at Kendwa Rocks Hotel, 6 days diving/12 dives. Some of the dives are a tad shallow so get compromised visibility. It certainly doesn't detract from the enjoyment. The guys at Zanzibar Watersports were superb and even though I couldn't twist their arm to the more extreme dives, the dives... More

This half day is $600.00. We did it and did not even a bite. Said fishing had been good but their catch board had not been updated in days. Crew spent whole time talking to each other. Had a downrigger but never put it. Only changed baits twice. Been fising in Cabo and Mombasa all crews worked hard but not... More

My girlfriend and I spent 2 weeks in Zanzibar with 10 days worth on Kendwa beach. Zanzibar Watersports office on Kendwa is located in the grounds of our hotel and came highly recommended. Both of us had never done scuba diving before so we deliberated over which course to choose, but ended up on the scuba diver - open water... More

Spent 6 days in Zanzibar this summer with a friend. We both wanted to dive and she needed to get her PADI certification. She reached out to a couple of dive shops and found Chris, the owner, to be the most straightforward and helpful in terms of service and information. The PADI course they offered with fantastic. She was able... More

During our stay we went for two dives here. The instruction as we asked about diving was very good. We ordered two dives package within the sanctuary (for an extra of 30 USD), which was supposed to be very good. I recommend bargain here as well as everywhere else in Africa. We both got the student discount, even though only... More

Me and my friend wanted to have a lot of snorkeling and scuba diving experiences for our short 4 day stay in Zanzibar. Thus we wisely discussed our plans with different operators and checked prices correspondingly. Two out of three times we ended up with Zanzibar Watersports as we found them the only reliable and honest providers. (The third time... More

Just got back from Zanzibar and had the best trip with these guys. Great pick up and support through the entire trip. Their knowledge of the island and water sports is second to none. From kiting to diving and kayaking I just had great trip. The location in Kendwa is epic! Would not hesitate to recommend these guys. One of... More

Great experience dealing with Zanzibar watersports at Kendwa Rocks. We were staying next door at Sunset Bungalows, and the diveshop there was a bit disinterested in our business. We popped next door, and had a great week of water adventures with the guys from Zanzibar Watersports. One of the guys on our trip only had 2 full days, and really... More

When I started feeling a little restless after the first day on Zanzibar (I'd forgotten to bring a book) I decided to take the open water divers license. This was kind of ironic, as my biggest fear is deep water, but I really did enjoy it and conquered my fear at the same time! I struck a good deal on... More

As experienced deep sea fisherman we thought we would take advantage of the wonderful opportunity to fish off the coast of Zanzibar. We arranged a half day deap sea charter on the Timimi at the Kendwa Rocks branch. Upon booking we were informed that they would need to check the Internet to confirm the weather was good to go out,... More

Zanzibar Watersports takes negative feedback very seriously. We feel that to be referred to as “Money Grabbers" is unprofessional and incorrect, and we’d like the opportunity to set this straight. Zanzibar Watersports, offers a professional fishing operation with a fleet of three fishing boats and over 12 years in the business in Zanzibar. If sea conditions are too rough or... More
