We paid for a snorkling tour to Mnemba island but never enjoyed it because of too many jellyfish. The captain never talked to us and the animator did not look to care about us. The food was not good. What a pity because James with whom we booked the tour was very nice!!

I was staying at Kendwa Rocks, and met the owners at the bar on my first night at the resort. We got talking, they really liked my moustache and offered me a 'moustache discount' on all their activities. :D I did my PADI open water scuba course and half a day of big game fishing here. The guys were really... More

We booked our diving with from the Kendwa Rocks hotel. Chris told us that we would have an instructor for my partner and myself, as I am not a confident diver. On the day we were diving with two other people. One of whom was completing a PADI course and we waited for him to complete skills etc. Our instructor;... More

My partner and I visited Zanzibar for the first time and were really excited about partaking in water activities. After doing some research and getting in contact with a few companies, only Zanzibar Watersports seemed to be replying in a friendly and informative, way. Other companies I contacted seemed like they were not interested in hosting us (I never made... More

I found my scuba diving day at Mnemba Atoll very exciting and beautiful. The instructors are professional and assertive which was very much appreciated. In particular my instructor Juma gave all the necessary information in a very good manner and the entire diving was a great success and pleasure with him. On a separate note thank to Kaamis who is... Just back in from another trip to Kendwa rocks. Went out with the Zanzibar watersports team this time for deep sea fishing. Had a great time with the crew and managed to pull in some fish. Stunning day on the water. Highly recommend if you are on the island.

Having many years experience as a charter fishing client this is the worst experience by a mile.Zanzibar Water Sports would not survive 2 minutes as an viable operation in Australia. My experience was as follows: The reason my wife and I went to Zanzibar was to relax after 2 weeks in Kenya and Tanzania and for me to indulge in... More

Once again I'd like to offer my sincere apologies for your disappointing experience with Zanzibar Watersports . It is never our intention to leave clients 'pissed off' and unsatisfied. As a result of speaking with you previously, Zanzibar Watersports did immediately offer you a full refund which you accepted. Unfortunately most of your frustration comes from the point that you... What a great week scuba diving around North Zanzibar. 7 days at Kendwa Rocks Hotel, 6 days diving/12 dives. Some of the dives are a tad shallow so get compromised visibility. It certainly doesn't detract from the enjoyment. The guys at Zanzibar Watersports were superb and even though I couldn't twist their arm to the more extreme dives, the dives... More
