Very professional dive center with experienced dive masters. With my only eight logged dives, I am quite unexperienced, so I was a bit anxious when I booked my dives. The day before we went out, I had a refresher in the pool. The instructor was superunderstanding, did all the regular exercises and made sure that I was fit to go... More

These guys were really great. We did a pool based training session with an excellent and very competent and calm teacher in the morning then went for an hours drift dive in a good spot with lots to see and interesting reef. It’s a no frills experience but the staff are competent and give one a good sense of security.

Very competent and nice dive operators. Professional, proper, clean and good equipment. Pleasant dive instructors with high knowledge and service. We dived five days and got to see a lot even though with had a LOT of wind these days in january. Will use then again when staying in Nungwi.

My children (19 and 23) and I stayed at a hotel in Zanzibar this January. I emailed this dive centre in advance and asked about certification dives. The proprietor, Delene Kurz, was prompt in responding, and very helpful. Once We got there, she was great about setting up pool sessions and the the two dives we needed to upgrade. Our... More

I had my first dive in Z hotel Zanzibar. the staf. In east africe were very friendly and patient. We had a pool dive and a 12 meter ocean dive the next dy for 110usd, which i thought was quite reasonable. It was not the best season for diving so the visibility was wuite low. But for a beginner that... More

If you only dive once or twice here, the price of 80 USD per dive may be a bit steep, but I got 14 dives for 700$. I have to mention that I only rented a shorty and BCD at the shop, obviously. If you get the chance, take the slowboat to local reefs, the speedboat had no ladder and... More

The dive shop is nice and staff is friendly. However, I found 160 USD for 2 dives at Mnemba Island a bit overpriced compared to other dive trips I made before. Our guide was super nice and focused, but considering that she was supposed to be familiar with the local environment and reef, she didn't show anything during the dive.... More

I worked in Nungwi as a dive instructor over 10 years ago. In the beginning I was a freelancer and then I moved more towards working for EADC, ( East Africa Diving Center). At the time I felt they were the best operation on the island and I am really happy to say they still are! After such a long... More

We were let down by another dive centre at the last minute and were very glad about it as we were able to book with Michael and his team at this very professional and friendly dive centre. We had one day with all 4 of us, and even though one of us was snorkelling he was able to join us... More
