If council is earning about $2,000,000 a year frim parking then they may consider keeping the toilets sanitised. The warm shower is great but the parking fees at $9 Per hour now is nothing short of EXTORTIONATE!!!!!!

Balmoral Beach is one of the inner harbour beaches, that rarely get mentioned in tourist guides. Even amongst the locals, it doesn't get the attention of the ocean beaches. And that's exactly why everyone enjoys it so much. Located barely 15 minutes from the CBD, Balmoral is an ideal location for anyone wishing for a beach with a more relaxed... More

Whether you're a local or a tourist (and anyone who lives outside of Mosman/Balmoral is a tourist), you have just got to add Balmoral beach to your holiday bucket list. It's a completely different experience to Bondi or Manly - the "iconic" Sydney beaches. For a start it has no surf so no fear of being hit by surf boarders... More

We visited Balmoral Beach on New Year's Day so perhaps it's not always so crowded. But there's no excusing the nine dollar an hour meter parking, the road rage among the beach goers and the rubbish in the water. The lowlight of the day was copping a discarded zip lock bag in the face while swimming near the pier. So... More

As a lifelong Beach fanatic; who regularly travels to Beaches in the Caribbean and Pacific; I had a chance to try 5 of the beaches in and around Sydney during my recent visit. Balmoral was one of the two I liked best. Although it can get a bit crowded, its nowhere near as bad as Bondi Beach; likely due to... More

Balmoral is a beautiful beach and perfect for all ages. There is no surf so perfect for little kids. Teenagers love jumping off the wharf. There is a shark net for anyone who is scared of sharks. It has shady trees, a play ground, cheap food kiosk, great cafes and world class restaurants. You can kayak, go for a beautiful... More

This is the prettiest bay with a lovely beach and several very good restaurants. Walk along the promenade and just spend the day sunbathing and eating at the restaurants and cafes.

This is one of our favourite Sydney beaches. Beautiful vista, no large waves (great for small kids), access to toilets and showers and plenty of cafes/food outlets up the road. Eating fish and chips by the beach can't be beaten! The only reason I didn't award 5 stars is due to the paid parking - if you can get a... More
