Take some amazing photos of our crazy buildings and toilets, our Illusion Rooms must be seen to be believed and the Great Maze, the worlds first 'modern-styled' maze, is a fascinating challenge for the whole family. Operating since 1973, this is a true Kiwi icon suitable for all ages and budgets and is a must-see on any tourist itinerary. « less

my kids loved this, really basic but oh so interesting Genuine staff, lots of puzzles to play with and some of the optical illusions are mind boggling Was $15, and for that you could easily fill a couple of hours. makes a nice change to the commercial side of Queenstown and Wanaka More

We family with 15yr old son all loved this place. The puzzles especially the illusions are brilliant and in some ways I thought it catered to adults more than children although the ones I saw were certainly enjoying themselves. The Alice in Wonderland type room was particularly amazing he maze is on 2 levels and they are cut in half... More

We really enjoyed all the plays on perception, the mask room.etc, did not have time to visit the maze. We spent a little time on the puzzles in the reception room & would likely have spent more if we had had the time. The place works fine far all age groups. More

I enjoyed learning how one man turned his idea and vision into reality and made it a very unique family attraction for many people. I'm sure that many local families enjoy bringing their children to this place and go away with appreciation for creative thinking outside the box. More

this place looks like nothing, but as soon as you are inside sitting at a table to have a coffee, you cannot but start playing with all kind of challenging, irritating, frustrating litthe gadgets/toys. More
