On a cruise of New Zealand we took in the OVERNIGHT IN QUEENSTOWN excursion. The trip itself was well worth it, and made even more enjoyable by our guide John Wellington. The only suggestion to make is to take swim suits, the hotel we stayed in has a wonderful pool to enjoy and we didn't have ours with us. Everything... More

It was a overnight tour offered by the cruise from Milford Sound to Dunedin. Very smooth itinerary, good hotel, wonderful food, beautiful mountains, rivers, lakes, and knowledgeable John.

Four very close girlfriends had a fabulous half day wine tour with John who was just amazing, his knowledge, personalitiy and kindness was just so refreshing, we were looked after like queens, he did very well with our group as we can be loud but well behaved. The wineries he took us to were of a high standard some of... More

We are currently finishing a cruise around New Zealand on Radiance of the Seas. We did a fantastic overnight excursion from Milford sound to Dunedin. Our tour guide John Wellington was fantastic: entertaining, informative and catered to all our needs. Milford sound was breathtaking .We also saw the mirror lake and had a great stay in Queenstown. We had a... More

Recently (Dec. 14 and 15 I think but I could be out a day) we had the privilege of having John as our tour guide on a 2 day tour from Milford Sound to Dunedin. John was well versed in so many areas -- geography, geology, history, folk lore, current local situations, etc. and he came prepared with photographs and... More

Hi Mary Ellen thank you so much for taking the time to write such a positive recommendation. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with John. We were fortunate to be the only people on the tour, so we got to do exactly what we wanted. We had a great mix of a Lord of the Rings tour, seeing some cool sights whilst getting a great description from John. We also went to several wineries, had a great platter... More

John guided our cross country tour off the ship, not something I believe he normally does. We couldn't have had a better guide. John made our two-day trip fun and interesting. Wish we could have stayed longer and taken a private tour with him. If you have interest in nature, good food and wine, and/or Lord of the Rings and... More

We visited Wanaka for the skiing but not much snow so we searched for alternative entertainment! Being ardent foodies this Taste of Central tour fitted the bill perfectly. This was a full day of tempting treats starting with canopies and wine tastings at a gorgeous little vineyard, onto Cromwell famous for its stone fruit for more tastings of goodies, then... More
