We did the night kayaking tour on Laguna Grande and had a lot of fun. We were told that the glow was only about 25% of the maximum level so we were given a unsolicited partial refund. Which was pretty awesome considering it was still a very cool experience. We did have a little trouble finding the place we were... More

This was a terrific kayaking trip but the biolumes were not visible. If you are going specifically for this do not book this tour. We had a great time and the guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. Do the afternoon into evening tour for the best bang for your buck.

Unfortunately we did this when the microorganisms weren't at full strength, but we could still see them and it was still fun. You kayak about 2 miles through a mangrove channel which is very fun and very cool in the dark. The tour guides were very helpful and fun. This company was very professional and even gave us a $5... I can't tell you how much fun we had today on the mini-boat and snorkeling trip! Fun little boats we could drive ourselves, amazing snorkeling in which we felt we were living in a salt water aquarium!!! Noel and Jamal were our guides and photographers. (Trust me, you want to let them be the photographers and all you have to... More

We are a generally fit couple in our 60s. We wanted to see both the rainforest and a bioluminescent bay in one day. We arranged to take the tour offered by Kayaking Puerto Rico before we left the States. The day before the tour, the company contacted us to say that the bioluminescence was weaker than usual. They offered us... More

My husband and I booked through Kayaking Puerto Rico and it was the BEST experience! At first we decided to do the Mini boating tour and the Bio bay, but they called ahead and let us know the Bio bay conditions weren't ideal, so they gave us the option to either get a discount or opt out for another excursion.... My husband and I wanted to go snorkeling while we were in Puerto Rico for five nights. This place was recommended by the concierge at our hotel, and we were not disappointed! We chose the mini boat excursion. It was a bit choppy, but we were able to navigate efficiently. Once we got to the snorkeling site, the guides gave... More

We had a group of about 20. We had about 4 guides with us. The trip was physically a lot easier than I thought. Due to the time of year in January there was no glow in the bay. The touring group was up front right away and said there was no glow but the trip is still a beautiful... More

My husband and I initially signed up for a night tour of Bio Bay to see the bioluminescence. Kayaking Puerto Rico called before we left on our trip to say the glow was not there due to a full moon, cooler water temperatures, and algae that ate the microorganisms. They offered to refund our trip or give us a discounted... More

I visit PR regularly but this year my family told me about Kayaking PR, want to thank everyone @ the Bio Bay tour (wish it was more lit up) trip which was fun and adventures (would prefer the first tour next time). But the Mini Boat island hopping and snorkeling tour I recommend to ALL, thanks to Captain Noel and... More
