Captain Jeff and his crew were awesome! Right from the booking process to the end was all smooth. I called them and initially there were completely booked... but from reading the good reviews from others and reading the bad reviews for BabyBay (rightfully so - will post my experience re. them under their listing) I tried my best to go... Wow... other reviews here are spot on: Jeff, Mario and Barney were great tour guides and seeing the bay is a great experience! They grew up on the bay, and it's a family business. They are knowledgable, kind and committed to what is best for the bay. We were surrounded by kayakers, and I think the boat is the better... More

The boat tour was just perfect. Our captain and our guide were extremely friendly and made the experience even more special. The BioBay Lagoon is one of the most fascinating things nature has to offer. It's pure magic! I would definitely recommend Bio Island services!

Not only was I blown away by how safe and secure I felt on the boat (rather than a kayak in the dark), I was completely educated about the tiny plankton, iguana and mangrove trees by our fabulous guide, Barney. We voyaged through the mangled mangrove trees and into the magical bay. That was when I felt like I was... More

We kayak at home regularly. But the way to enjoy the bay is on the boat. It was a magical night, and the time was spent enjoying the scene, not fighting a group of kayakers. We saw the whole bay because the boat maneuvers so much faster. Another benefit is standing on the boat several feet off of the waterline allows... More

This was a great experience. The drive from San Juan was about 50 mins but it was worth it. Our captain Jeff and tour guide Mario were very fun and knowledgable, the water is an incredible thing to see, nothing like I have ever seen before. The best thing we ever did was take a boat instead of kayak!!!

When I first heard of this phenomena, I had never heard of such a thing before and had to do some research to see if it was real or not. We then decided to add this little excursion to our trip to Puerto Rico the night before catching our cruise. If you are researching tour companies for this excursion, you... More

My girlfriend and I were looking for some relaxing adventure and the electric boat tour of the Biobay was perfect! Out tour guide Barney was extremely pleasant and filled with great information about the bay. The only mistake we made was not putting on but repellant. We were eaten alive. Totally worth the trip out there and would do it... More

I had heard about the bioluminescent bay and knew I had to see it on my trip to P.R. I am a tripadvisor junkie so I set out to find the best tour. I wasn't really down with kayaking at night so was so excited when I came across bioisland and was able to get a reso for the 7:30... More
