Friends and I have chartered from many places through big and small charter outfits (including the big name brands like Sunsail and Moorings), and we all agreed that our experience with Sail Caribe was the best. The boat was clean, in good repair, and ready to go. Staff was professional, extremely friendly, and organized. They were responsive to questions and... More

Personally visited with friends at the Fajardo/ceiba location on Feb 21. After reviewing the boat, expressed a sincere interest, and outlined our qualifications, references, and experience with other charters such as Sunsail and Moorings (supurb companies). Staff is unenpowered to do anything. Told to return to speak to Jim the manager, Jim did not show in morning, but office manager... More

The attraction listed here as Caribe Yacht Charter has the website sailcaribe.com, which is the name I use to identify it. We made use of SailCaribe's discounted rate on monohulls in late summer to charter Roxanne (Hunter 33), knowing that there was a risk this would put us there during a tropical storm or hurricane. Sure enough, Irene hit Fajardo... More

My husband and I have sailed a number of times - mostly with bigger name sailing companies. This was our first venture with a smaller outfit... and we couldn't have been happier with our experience. The boats were in good working order. The questions we had were addressed right away. The staff was friendly and made sure our stay in... More

My family had booked a vacation months in advance to charter one of the larger sail boats. We had everything planned, and bought the airplane tickets. Two weeks prior to our trip, the company called us up, and first said the boat was no longer available to us, it was out for maintenance. They then offered us two smaller boats,... More

We chartered a 33' Hunter -- Roxanne -- for a week in late April/early May. The winds were blowing 25 knots with 4-8 foot seas for several days, which is a change of pace from the mild SoCal conditions I'm used to. Culebra and Culebrita were nice. Vieques had some great bays with miles of beach and not another house... More

Sailed on "Do Over" from Marine Puerto del Rey in Fajardo to Sun Bay, Vieques for a total of 5 days and had a wonderful time. The boat is in great condition and provided a very relaxing environment. More

I've chartered sailboats throughout the Caribbean, and have used many different companies -- from the majors to the small companies. The combination of Sail Caribe's quality boats, personalized management style, and location convenient to one of the last great undiscovered cruising grounds in the Caribbean (the Spanish Virgin Islands), made my experience with Sail Caribe among the best I've ever... Great boat, minimal problems, knowledgeable staff, and the path less traveled- what more could any sailer ask for? I am planning another charter with SailCaribe and look forward to sailing with them for years to come. More

A buddy and I just got back from an 8 day charter (Oct 22 to Oct 30) aboard a 38' Hunter (Eugenie). I have chartered in the past from the big charter company (nothing bad to say). We wanted direct flights and wanted to go somewhere different than the BVI's so Caribe Yacht Charters was recommended. My first contact with... More
