Overall, this was a fantastic experience. The guides were friendly and helpful and the whole operation was well-organized and thoroughly planned. Every single detail was thought through. For example, my husband needed a strap for his glasses and Mike, the organizer, had several for people to borrow. We were worried about mosquitoes, and there were some present, but we came... More

Ecotours were amazing. We had no previous experience with Kayaking. When our guides saw our lack of ability they hooked us together with another couple and the guide and away we went. The trip through the mangroves was amazing. There was not a lot of bio luminescence because the area is in recovery mode after last year's hurricane. Still, we... More

WARNING - The bioluminescence levels are REALLY low! These people made that point again and again through their website and when we met them before the excursion. And after the excursion, we felt that they were doing it justice - it is extremely low, and rare. However sad that might be, if you're in Puerto Rico and you don't know... More

The kayak trip through the mangroves were beautiful; very professional guides. The bloom was low for the bioluminescence and they made sure we were aware prior to departing. Even with a low bloom was still a magical experience!

Indeed, the organization of the tour is very good. The prep work including the introduction and the pre-tour kayaking 101 were excellent. The tour was very informative, the guides are very knowledgeable. One big disappointment is no bio-luminescence. This tour is organized by many companies and there are so many people kayaking that it is a bit of a bazaar... More

While they can't control the conditions in the bay, Enchanted Island tours was the best run outfit conducting bio-bay tours. They were professional from start to finish which made the whole experience enjoyable. In comparison, other tour groups looked like amateurs.

This was our only excursion (full moon night kayaking tour) booked through our cruise line - we were sad to learn that the glowing plankton's had suffered difficulties and were not active, but we still had a full moon to see. Our bus ride there was extremely informative - I felt very safe being prepared for anything. The bugs were... More

We really wanted to go kayaking to the Bio Bay by night but had not booked in advance. Luckily for us, someone had cancelled their trip with Enchanted Island Eco Tour on our last night and we were able to book it. They are pricier then the other operators but I am very happy that by chance we got to... More

We are first timers, this is a piece of cake for the experienced. Don't be scared of the intial waves. It's a common feeling. You will get into the groove in just 5-10 minutes. The waves calm down as you enter the mangrove. This is an everlasting memory for me and my wife and we will cherish it. We are... More

The attention to details is obvious the moment you arrive. The whole team is very professional and make EVERYONE feel comfortable no matter there skill level. They have to be the safest company out there by mile. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the entire trip. Mother nature has dealt all the companies in this area a big... More
